parang iba na yung mags sa pics, meron yata nabibili na mags na naka-offset na ng konti kaya hindi na kelangan ng spacer... may nagbanggit na akin ito dati pero I can't recall lahat..

I check my shocks and i discover that it is GASFILLED now i know the reason why Innova quite bouncy considering that it has 4wheel coil spring.

I just want to ask you guys if anybody already upgrade your shocks?
I hope EMU or Rancho shocks will soon have products for Innova.

    Jaeger,

I guess that J variant has fluid type of shocks or maybe you just miss the writing on your shocks.sana bossing if your going to have underwash your ride pls. check your shocks again and kindly tell us if is really a fluid type Thanks.

Test drove the Innovas at the Fort today. First one, I tested is a Gray Mica Metallic D4D G variant A/T. The diesel engine is amazingly quiet and none of the rattles, vibrations, and squeaks, etc associated with diesels when driving or on stand still on this one. If you really want to hear that familiar taka-taka-taka-taka diesel sound, you would have to bend down near the front wheel well and you will barely hear that familiar sound, other than that it is barely noticeable inside. Emissions looks clean ie. no black smokes. Acceleration is a little bit sluggish, but it eventually picks up in higher speeds (exactly like a Ford Focus).

The next one I tested is a Silver Metallic VVTI G Variant A/T. Now this engine is so quiet. I thought the diesel was quite quiet, but the gas is more so, almost unnoticeable at all. The acceleration is much more responsive on the gas and it is able to reach redline very easily. The gas accelerates faster than the diesel.

In the end, I'm really impressed with the obvious improvements made with modern diesel engines. It is so unlike the diesels I have known before (ie. Isuzu Gemini, L300 single cabs).

Also, to those still hoping that there are wheel well covers for their units, one of the people there mentioned that there is one on one of the units but they never showed it to me. But usually, they say that when the units are delivered to the dealers, the units does NOT come with the wheel well covers on. I know there are lots of contradictory statements which makes this whole thing really confusing.

are you sure that the diesel variant you drove was so quiet from the outside like standing besdie the front hood closed? well for my ride itself, you can hear it has a diesel engine from at least 5 m.

    WBR,
Yeah I stood near the front fender/hood and I had to bend down near the wheels/tires to hear the noise. I guess the noise could have been drowned by the loud music they were playing for the event. But inside the diesel, it is quite quiet, no vibrations, no rattles, etc. Very very very slight vibrations only.

I also noticed the driver's power window has "auto" labeled on the switch, but it is only auto downwards and will NOT auto up. Strange, first time to see this in a car's power window. Big hassle for parking tolls and highway tolls.

Yes, inside very quiet but once outside especially in a quiet environment, you can hear the ka-ta-ka-ta-ka-ta sound of diesels.. ;)

    hello pipol!

between a city/jazz... and the innova.. i guess talagang di hamak na mas practical ang innova.. kaya i think i'm really leaning towards getting the diesel A/T G variant... but before i do get one, i have a lot of questions.. some of which may have already been previously discussed in this thread, hopefully, you guys can help me out here, most of these questions pertain to accessories na plano ko isama sa budget ko:

    1. stereo - have anyone tried using the stock stereo but upgrade speakers and add an amp? anong kinalabasan?

    2. mags - i'm thinking of swapping to 16" mags.. what's the best size ng rubber that would match the stock 205/65r15?

    3. leather - napadaan na ako ng isang shop sa banawe and ang quote for kelseat leather seats kasama pati sidings ay 38,000 but pareho sa isang post dito.. they require 2 weeks work.. may iba pa bang alternative dito na okay din ang gawa? anybody tried EQUIPT?

thanks for replying!! hope to be an owner of an Innova soon!

masagwa kalalabasan nyan hehe, change first your stock stereo to a better one, even if stock speakers, gaganda tunong nyan with a new car stereo (kung high quality like pioneer)

    goodluck on your innova purchase

ang meron lang "AUTO UP" eh yung vios, corolla, camry, previa, rav4 at prado ..
all revo, hilux (old and new), and hiace (old and new) eh puro auto down lang, kaya hassle talaga after mo mabagayad sa tollgate hehe..

yung mazda tribute V6 ng officemate ko, badtrip sya sa power window nya dahil auto down lang samantalang yung xtrail and rav4 nila eh kumpleto..

mababa ang trade-in value pag sa casa nyo ibenta, i suggest that you sell your old car outside casa na lang, then use that money to buy innova J

Yes, ok ang A/T d4d na Innova coz of more torque than MT, 260Kn-m on AT while MT has 200Kn-m only..
