Regular check lang,everytime you go to Shell station try to check your tire presure its free naman wd Shell.

Di ba ung mga toyota branches may mga accessories counter na ngbebenta ng replacement parts and accessories? Sa mga bumili ng mga accessories [not from the original parts counter] na informed ba kayo ano difference? Say, ung rear spoiler? Mas maganda ba ung original? kita ba ung difference pag replacement lng kinuha mo?

Kasi yung FX at hilander namin ninakawan. I asked around sa mga nagbebenta ng replacement spare tire rim, sa kwentuhan, yun ang sinabi nilang modus ng mga nagnanakaw ng spare tire.

I got an Innova E model and this is the first time I owned a diesel vehicle and with turbocharged engine. All my previous cars were gasoline engines. My question is, when do I know that the turbo charger has kicked in, at what RPM or speed does it works. Also will I feel it when it does work? And how important is the cooling time that is, before I turn off the engine after using.

hello fellow innova owners! received thru snail mail an inspection certificate from toyota pasong tamo. seems they do an extensive check on your vehicle's paint job and undercoating after 6 mos. it includes waxing, re-touching of scraped off rustproofing on all fenders plus complete washing ( body, engine and underchassis) and vacuum. it's scheduled for aug. 28 as I got my Innova G a/t gas last feb. 28. do all dealers do this semi-annual check-up?

AFAIK Your turbo will kick in at fourth gear after to help enhance your long throw speed... re cooling time of turbo before turning off engine is approximately 2 to 3 min as per manual.. this is very important to preserve the life span of your turbo...

2 to 3 mins ba? naku, usually 1 min lng ginagawa ko (all turned off pati aircon)

may nagpakabit na ba ng turbo timer dito for innova? magkano kaya 'to & saan pwede magpakabit?

the 2 min waiting time applies only if you been driving it for say more than an hour at high speeds (80-120kph) only.. so say normal city drving with small high speeds, as per manual a 30 sec to a minute will suffice.. ;)

this is the first time na narinig ko ito, maybe sa toyota pasong tamo lang itong ganito, unless standard na sa lahat ng toyota casas..

6 months na ang Innova ko, but have not received anything of this sort from Toyota Commonwealth.

Is it totally free or just one way of getting you go back the casa?
If its Free wow! sana ganyan din toyota balintawak.
One more thing did u have rustproof from the dealer?

I just rotated my tires myself. Medyo mahirap pero okay lang as I already experienced how to change tires just in case na ma-flat (hope it wouldn't happen). As for the tirenapping, it is possible to steal the spare tire by just cutting the chain.

AFAIK, that is NOT part of the standard Toyota vehicle maintenance program. check your manual.

when I got my Rav4, I also found a rustproofing maintenance checklist from a 3rd party. yes, the first check-up / retouch is free (heck... what will you retouch on undercoating that is just 6 months old?). but they will hook you up on unnecessary undercoating / rustproofing maintenance schemes (like you have to go there every 6 months for underwash, rustproof treatment, etc).

usually magro-rotate ka lng ng tires para pantay ang pagka-upod ng gulong.

to check kng pantay yng upod ng gulong mo sa front & rear, kuha ka ng toothpick, check mo yng kapal ng thread ng tires mo sa front & compare it sa likod. kng more than 3 milimeters yng difference, it is time to rotate ur tires.

also, here's another way para malaman mo kng kailangan mo na mag rotate & at the same time, magpa-align...
1. basain mo yng mga gulong mo sa front, specifically sa thread sa taas & remove foreign objects using a brush (dirt, bato, buhangin, soil, or jerbs hehehe :D)
2. place ur palm on top of the tire, touching the thread.
3. i-move mo yng hand mo going-in to engine without lifting ur hand sa thread ng tires. kng makinis (smooth, without sharp edges), ok pa ang wheel alignment mo. kng magaspang, have ur wheels aligned.
4. repeat step 3 pero palayo naman ng engine yng hand mo (going-out), still touching the thread. kng magaspang, pa-check mo na alignment mo.

tapos sa tire rotation, either i-interchange mo lng yng 2 rear sa 2 front tires...
OR yng spare tire mo ilagay mo sa front (either driver or passenger side) kc yun yng may makapal na thread. yng 2 old front tires ilipat mo both sa likod. yng 1 sa old rear tire ilagay mo sa harap, tapos yng isa naman sa spare.

remember always na kng anong tires yng nilagay mo sa front, have it balanced first para hindi mag vibrate yng steering wheel mo during high speeds.
