I got an E diesel manual, can you recommend a reputable shop that can install an alarm in an innova, that has a reasonable price. Toyota Ortigas charges P 8,500 for the casa installed alarm. thank you

You're willing to void your warranty? Its because you will if you have an alarm or anything to do with electronics outside of the casa. ^_^

ILD: yung sa akin G Variant M/T, pag purely city driving average consumption ko 7.5 km/li. pero last time na bumiyahe ako ng malayo at almost 80% e highways. 12.8 ang km/li ko.

mas-matipid yung vvti vs yung D4D sa long drive?

I'm a fan of the D4D Innova (next to my beloved Seth ) and already I'm at awe at the 170kph power, but I would also really like to see some testimonies of greater than 14km/l consumption... specially on long rides.

Yes your right, i'm too always wanting to drive very fast when i'm at NLEX. cause the sheer beauty of the highway encourages me to step on gas full throttle always.. no bumps and no hitch whatsoever on that damn highway...

but if you drive within or up to 90 or 100kph and maintain it for the duration of your trip... i think you can get up to 14 Km/L consumption... but in my case i cant resist driving at that still slow speed cause 90% of the time i always drives here at manila only at max of 60kph.. sigh...

Good morning Innova Pips. Your right Sir Innova Boy, my playground is actually on highways and I seldom proceed to Manila except on Business Meetings and personal visit to my son. That consumption figures that I log yesterday is primarily 80% highway driving and I used Total Diesel Fuel. But on my next full tank, I will try also to use Petron to see how much milage would I squeeze from this brand.
Can anybody help me where can I find a one stop shop (Shop Name) for our Innova like accessories and the likes because I don't like hooping from one shop to another just to find appropriate parts and accessories when spare time permit me while in Manila.

AFAIK, you should not use synthetic oils until after you reach 5,000 kms. Dapat alam ng casa to.

Well, the dealer w/c i have my 1k PMS also suggested to have syn oil as my next oil.. it is highly recommended by the dealer and they even endorse me the Mobil One SAE 0W-40 fully synt. oil ones which is 30 petot higher than Toyota Syn. oil.

Then my next oil change will be on 10K PMS, same as Czar_ethan mentioned.. but if you use only mineral oil on 1k, you need to change oil again on 5k PMS...

You can try F1 accessories along Banawe in QC, they have complete acc but some i think is on order basis which you need to come back for installation..

Well OTis SA told me that on 5K PMS, they will just replace the oil filter if you use Fully Synt oil on your 1K PMS.. All other adjustment needed like brakes and whatsoever will be done on 10K PMS...

kasi on my 1k and 5K PMS, free ang labor but on the 10K, labor is NOT FREE anymore and you need to pay for that extra services like maybe checks on brakes, etc... mautak sila masyado tungkol dito...

But busy_road post here is otherwise from my case, so i want to know what will happen on busy_road's 5k PMS soon..

To VVT-i Innova owners: Whats your ave Km/Li? Puro ata diesel yung nabasa ko dito. My mom is in the market for a new car, am suggesting the Innova, ayaw niya ng diesel so that leaves me with the gas variant.

My J-Variant Gas consumptions:

City Driving - 8 to 9 kms/li
Highway - 11 kms/li

I would go to Isabela/Cagayan within the month or first week of June. Will update you of consumptions.

My service advisor also suggested synthetic oil on my 1k PMS. Kaya yung ang ipinagamit ko. I'm on my 4,200 kms na. So lapit na ang 5k PMS.

Taga Marikina ka rin pala czar_ethan. Nabili ko sa akin sa Makati last march pa. Wala pang mga accessories pero nagpaplano kaming magpakabit. Ang 1km PMS ko ay sa Makati rin pero sabi ng agent ko pwede rin sa ibang casa. Hindi ba standard ang price ng PMS sa mga casa?

Ok naman agent ko. Meron dito namomroblema sa unit diba? Pwede mo ko pm para irefer sa agent ko.

Sir Innova Boy: Paki-dagdag na lang sa list. Ours is Beige Mica, G-Variant, Gas, M/T.

ILD: Ang consumption ko pag purely city driving ay >8 km/li. Pag purely hiway, 12 km/li. I hope this helps.
