Congrats... isama mo na name mo dun sa list ng innova owners..

120kph is a jog in the park for the innova. Top speed so far of any innova owner I know of is 170kph by innovaboy on the NLEX, he has a diesel A/T. My personal consumption is 8.9km/ltr, city driving and a little highway (C5)

naka-140kph ako nung na-ospital ang anak ko.. para nga lang nag-jo-jogging eh.. kaya pang tumakbo ng mabilis.. hehehe.. di ko na binilisan pa, kakatakot eh..

there are 2 Innova Clubs, isa na itong "toyotainnovaclub" natin
and another one na "toyota_Innova" -

i'm a member of both club/yahoogroups, so far both are aiming the
same thing - to help all innova owners.

one of the moderators sa revo yahoogroups (revogsx) explained this to me:
The "toyota_revo" yahoogroups originally includes FX/REVO/INNOVA,
however, he mentioned that with more than 190 members sa revo
yahoogroups nila, topics about revo might me irrelevant to Innova
owners and vice versa, so to concentrate daw sa specific car, they
created "toyota_innova" yahoogroups for all of us Innova owners

revogsx made me a moderator sa "toyota_innova" yahoogroups
because he doesn't own an Innova yet but he knows all about it
before it was released here in the Philippines (he was the one who posted the spypictures along with carlocaraddict)

meron din ako power na mag-add ng moderators hehe, sino ba masipag mag-internet?

so far ang gawa ko lang bilang moderator dun is mag-approve/deny ng
new members at konting upload ng photos/files, yun lang...

he(revogsx) also said that they are still looking for more
moderators for the Toyota_Innova yahoogroups and almost lahat daw ng
yahoogroups settings ng "toyota_revo" is the same as "toyota_innova"
para hindi na manibago yung member na mag change ng car from revo to
innova

and para daw madaling matandaan name ng yahoogroups na "Toyota_Innnova"

guys what do you think? merge na natin both innova yahoogroups?

just to add, ni-split lang talaga yung original "toyota_revo" yahoogroups para meron sarili yung mga Innova peeps, care and maintenance tips lang naman kasi ang common sa mga kotse, but the new innova is totally different na from revo so sayang naman time ng mga innova owners reading topics for revo and vice versa

the "toyota_innova" yahoogroups was initally created last Feb2005 but not yet open to the public dahil konti pa mga innova owners that time, nag-start lang last month ang pag-accept sa "toyota_innova" dahil dumadami na sila sa "toyota_revo" ... kaya ayun hehe, we don't mean to rival any yahoogroups... nagkasabay lang sa "toyotainnovaclub" yahoogroups

marami naman moderators sa "toyota_innova" yahoogroups and we can still add more sa mga gusto mag manage..

just post your comments which is better for all..

That's a good idea. I'm a member of both groups too and merging will eliminate us having to duplicate threads and info that's already taken up. We can thus have a central repository for valuable first-hand info on our Innova.

I'm for merging.

Larshell, it doesn't feel like an SUV, it feels like driving an Accord or Galant for the following reasons:

1. Interior and amenities are high class for the exception na regular cleaning is a must.

2. Suspension is great like those 2 liter cars example Galant and Accord.

guys, tanong ko lang kung may nagpakabit na ng back mirror sa inyo? this morning na-atrasan ko kasi ang isang basurahan, nabad trip si misis kaya ayan, naghahanap ako ng matino tinong back mirror. went to karplus and they have this OEM looking back mirror which requires drilling two holes on the top part of the tailgate. i have no issues with drilling except that the unit (last unit na) doesn't look brand new and they are costing it at P950. is that a good price? the back mirror i'm talking about is not the one that resembles the side mirrors of trucks but has a broad stem (or stalk) and looks the type that is color keyed to the body color. any comments? thanks

minsan mahirap din lang na umasa sa backup sensor kasi twice na nabangga ang likod ng ride namin kahit na may sensor pa ito (g-variant). mahirap i-calculate sa tunog lang ng sensor ang distance sa wall kaya tingin ko mas mahusay pa nga yata ang mirror. ot - would you know where can i find a sensor na idinikit lang? iniisip ko sana na lagyan ang front bumper ng ride namin kasi maliit ang garage namin. thanks.

An inexpensive solution would be to get two hollow blocks or bricks and place them on the floor near the front wall of your garage. When you feel your front wheels come in contact with them, you know its time to stop.

Ganyan ang setup ng dad ko dati, and I don't think he ever hit the water tank at the front end of his garage
