Best to wait na lang, you might regret it later on esp. if deep down in your heart you have settled for the Fortuner. A few months or a year later, you might get a headache from thinking of the question "What if..."

Even if I had to get another vehicle other than a Fortuner, I would never get an Innova. The CR-V 4x2 a/t is a good alternative since its price is roughly Php 60K more than an Innova D4-D a/t and much more affordable than a Fortuner V (Php 500K less).

I guess this is what most of the people, so called IN-LINE for the Fortuner is thinking... and that includes me... I've just been itching to get an Innova na rin but as the say if ur heart ponders for the Fortuner, then u might just regret it later on if you buy another vehicle.

But the question is "For how long are we going to wait? or Is it really worth the wait? "

beebs, a fortuner is a fortuner, and an innova is an innova. well, kung di naman nagmamadali, you can wait longer pa. kidding aside, if you can live with it na, innova na lang instead of a fortuner..then go right ahead and innova na lang kunin mo. mahirap kasi yung mentality afterwards na, "sayang, dapat pala hinintay ko na lang yung fortuner."

guys, anyone of you experience water inside the right fog light? yung neighbor kasi namin encountered this problem. actually j variant siya and sa casa siya nag pa-install ng fog light. nung itanong niya sa casa reason for the problem, wala daw kasi cover sa loob to protect yung right fog light. which i remember that na discuss na dito yung problem sa cover. and according sa casa wala daw talaga cover yun. kahit marami na daw naka encounter ng ganitong problema. meaning pwede rin mangyari sa atin ito and wala tayong magagawa kundi papalitan lang yung fog light. hindi yata tama iyon. dapat siguro provide sila ng cover to protect the fog light.

It's really a problem without those wheel wells to protect foglamps from water and/or mud. Let me share this DIY solution a made from the above problem. I just covered the foglamp's back housing with flashband (the one they use as waterproofing band for roof leaks) and applied ample layer of silicon on all crannies of the housing. Will post pic later.
    .....
Eto ung ginawa ko sa back housing ng right foglamp.

Hirap lang ng DIY mo, sealed sya masyado. Yong init di makasingaw. Baka may pumutok o masunog in the long run. Ingat lang dre.

He he he. It's better this way I would think kaysa pasukin ng water. You will notice the small P-trap rubber? Yan yung singawan so I dont think na magkakaroon ng problem with regards to overheating. So far A-OK pa rin. Besides, electrical bulbs glow because of heat. Possible pa itong pumutok because of water.

Upgraded my right foglamp back housing cover with a DIY wheel well. Used a vinyl matting cut to shape and fixed it with bolts. Ok na cguro ito against water splashes sipping inside the lamp. Ano sa palagay nyo?
