mga sirs newbie po,

just have some few questions regarding my innova E 2010/ Gas m/t

1. normal ba yung high idle pag cold start. pag nag start ako ng makina pumapalo yung rpm ng 2000 then maingay yung makina upon starting. mag sesettle sya ng between 850-1000 after 2-3 minutes.
This is normal, as the engine is trying to warm up, and the fact na bumbaba after some time it just means it's doing that, what's not normal is if di sya bumaba.

2. when will be the best time to inflate the tire to 36 PSI (loaded). pag 5 persons sa loob considered na ba yun na loaded o ok pa rin yung 33 PSI?
Yung nakalagay sa manual, best practice lang yang, in the end nasa gumagamit nayan. Ako I maintain 33 sa harap and 36 sa likod kasi medyo bouncy sa akin pag 33 lang sa likod. Ang importante di lumalagpas sa specified tire pressure.

3. regarding sa 1000kms PMS. kung sakaling hanggang 600 kms lang inabot ko then nag lapse na ng 3 months, do i need to have the PMS o much better na intayin ko yung 1000kms sa ODO. aalis kasi ko ng bansa at alang gagamit nung car.
Again nasa user ulit to, for me yng kms parin susundan, medyo maiksi pa naman yung 3 months, siguro kung di ka parin umabot ng 1000kms in 6 months then that's the time na magpa change oil ka na.

sana masagot niyo mga katanungan ko mga bossing, salamat!!!

already had my 1000pms but still, my fuel consumption is so bad. G A/T diesel = 1:7

Just been from a 1000km PMS from Toyota Cubao. Mineral oil gamit, umabot ng 2.5k. When I checked the details ginamitan pa ng flush and fuel treatment na 1k din inabot. Di naman kailangan mga to di ba? So dapat around 1.5k lang gastos ko.

Pero napaisip din ako, di nga ba talaga kailangan yng flushing? Or depende nalang yan sa user? Regarding naman dun sa fuel treatment, since additive lang to na nilalagay sa gas tank, pwede ba na tayo nalang maglagay, tinignan ko kasi sa ACE may mas mura na alternative, STP tatak. And ano ba advantage nitong fuel treatment, kung d4d engine ko, makakatulong ba to para di mangyari sa aking yng mga d4d problems since ang tinuturo na isang cause ay maruming fuel? Sorry dami tanong, sana may sumagot.

Reading the owner's manual, I don't recall anything mentioned there about flushing and fuel treatment.

And why is there a need for flushing when you're not changing from mineral to synthetic oil.....

Good news, i have discovered cheap source for our ride's leather seat cover and floor matting...

leather seats = 4,000 to 7,000
floor matting = 2,500, this is the same i saw at otis selling at 5k..

This is just my opinion...You car just reached 1K Kms and for sure there are no sludge build up yet, flushing formulation targets oil sludges so if there's no oil sludges why the need for flushing?

Reading the owner's manual, I don't recall anything mentioned there about flushing and fuel treatment.

Hmmm . . I agree, next time alam ko na. Nagbasa basa rin ako sa internet marami rin nagsasabi na di kailangan flushing pag change oil . . learning experience.

some auto shop do flushing to remove the residue of the previous oil and for cleaner engine daw, i dunno the significance though, coz for me I dont do flushing every change of engine oil on my automobiles....

Anybody has a gas innova..... matipid ba? planning to change our altis 1.8 2003 model.... nakakbutas ng budget monthly. Using it for sales calls kasi. Thanks

para sakin hindi dapat ginagamitan ng flushing ang pag change oil.. unless talagang luma na... what if kung me maiwang flushing residue sa loob ng makina mo eh di hindi kakapitan ng langis yan? lalo lang makakasira dahil sa friction sa loob ng makina mo natanggalan ng langis ahehehe...
ganun din sa gas additives pag bago hindi pa kailangan nito ala ka pa namang bara sa mga injection mo ahehehe..

talagang mga kasa puro pakabig ahehehehe...

baka makasira pa nga ito... hay... para me trabaho sila... mali mali mali talaga...

sales calls? for sure mas matipid ang altis 1.8 mo kesa 2.0 innova, bigger engine na,bigger body pa. The best i can do sa city is 7.5-8km/l.

Mine is Innova G M/T, last February lang at 2.8K na natatakbo. Kaya lang average na 8 km/l ang konsumo within MM. Kapag nagprobinsya ako, ave. na 10km/l. Cguro nga 2liters kc to bago ko. Sa mga meron ding ganito variant, pwede pa kayang mabago at tumaas 'to. TY

Usually nasa 8km/l naman ang mga 2.0 engines,pag nagmamadali pa nga ako bumababa sa 6km/l yon. Nakaka 3200 pa lang din odo ko. Tingin ko best na ng Innova yun.

mataas na yang 8km/lter sa city driving sa ganyang kalaking makina... normally nasa 6 to 7km/l lang yan.. rush hour yan ahehehehe...

sa highway naman ok na 10 to 12km/l talaga...

Flushing may be necessary if you change your engine oil from Mineral to Fully Synthetic; I may be stand corrected, please
Honestly I did this on my Innova already; flushing once I change oil from Mineral to Fully Synthetic

For an Innova that has a 2.0 or a 2.5 engine is just the right engine displacement of the vehicle
it compensates on the weight that the vehicle is loading as it is in motion
it may also prevent engine stress
one thing it juz require more fuel due to its higher displacement; but it gives you power in return

pero sana me option na 2.7gas ang innova dito sa atin. sa india meron 2.7gas na innova.

mga kainoba kanina nagpa change oil ako for 5000kms at libre ang labor at ang binayarean ko lang ay 1,6++, pero pagdating ko ng bahay at ipinahinga ko ng mga 30mins at nag check ako ng oil level at napansin ko sobra ang langis ng mga 6mm sa HIGH LEVEL, sa mga expert ok lang ba ito? kasi noong nakaraan ay pinabawasan ko sa TOYOTA ay kasi lagpas din sa allowed level, pero siningil nila ako..ok lang kaya na sumobra para di na ako pumunta sa casa na mukang pera? Diesel ito model 2010...thanks

I have an officemate who is a mechanical engineer and previously worked at other automobile company. He told me that the engine oil level has an allowable tolerance of +/- ten percent. So, kung ganun ok lang na lumagpas sa maximum level as long as it within 10%. Any comments, please. TY
