I think I will get an Innova pero di ba issue D4D nito? Second lang bibilhin ko 2005 or newer. Any advise?

Ilang Km/L ang consumption ng innova diesel, for manual vs automatic?

Only thing I liked about Dasma is their reception lounge and viewing area. Nothing else. Whichever dealer is nearer your residence is still the best for you. Saves you time, money and effort.
salamat sir for the reply. I'm from cavite but Im closer to TAI than TDC. I was considering TAI before, but after reading here in tsikot that there were several bad practices in TAI, I started to look somewhere else.
How's your experience with TAI so far?

try to bring a mechanic or a person who knows technical know-how upon buying a second hand car/innova....
check on the mileage of the vehicle....

exterior and interior looks may be deceiving but be very observant on the vehicle you are buying and be sure it is not a flooded innova...

no issues so far with TAI. nagkakataon lang siguro sa ibang customers. just completed the 30k km pms there. right now they can't perform/attend to under chassis concerns as hard labor bay is fully booked. you know, flooded + previously booked toyotas. you just need to make separate appointment apart from the pms itself. they just replaced my front shocks out of warranty free of charge. thanks to the nice and pretty cro rep then. well good luck then to your dealer scouting.

My battery is still stock and it is not maintenance free, so every 2 weeks I add some battery water...however, I notice something white which is dry na parang natuyong acid....What I do is just clean it up during the topping of battery water...should this be a concern??? Is my battery dying soon???

Mix some baking soda + water and use a tooth brush to clean it off? Is it on the battery terminal?

to get rid of the white residue (lead sulfate) apply a small amount of baking soda diluted in a small amt of water and brush it off with a used toothbrush. you may need to remove the brackets as well and terminals for thorough cleaning. expect your stock battery to get weaker and eventually die soon. when you notice the weak engine starting and battery becoming bloated, your stock batt has served it's purpose and that's the time to bade goodbye to it and have it replaced. this time, get the maintenance free.

it's normal. just do what the man says: baking soda. and batteries usually last at least 2 years. you'll know when your battery has to be replaced: when it can't start the car. heh heh. yes, seriously! there's no other way! and this will happen overnight. yesterday, car started fine. today, it can't. i know of a few people who replace their batteries at the 2 year mark, no ifs no buts. they just don't want the hassle..
and next time, i'll buy maintenance-free batteries. i hated the ritual then..

nobody would ever know except for the owner him/herself. kung ikaw ang owner then ibebenta mo vehicle mo, would you say your merchandise is rotten? of course not.

The stock Oriental battery (low maintenance) of my 2005 Innova lasted more than 4 years w/o a glitch. Added battery fluid every 3 months lang during PMS. One day bigla na lang ayaw mag-start. Battery shop offered me a maintenance free type, but I opted for the low maintenance. Sa experience ko w/ maintenance free, average 2 years lang. My 2007 Strada's low maintenance GS battery is nearing its 3rd year na. One click lang every time mag-start.

my stock battery is also running to 5 years now and still working fine, guess will replace it soon with the same type or GS battery.

the only way to go is verify with the casa where the car is normally serviced.the vehicle plate number i think should be suffice to trace its pms record or ondoy victim.

OC question usual passenger for my innova is only 3 so i keep the 3rd row seats folded everytime (handy pag shopping e, malaki space for the groceries). last thur, we're going out of town with my parents so had to unfold the 3rd row seats kaso parang nag-stick yung leatherette seat with each other.. wala naman damage or discoloring but i think few more weeks e ganun na mangyari...

do you guys keep your 3rd row unfolded.. any pros/cons having it folded? sorry sa OC question..

i always keep it unfolded kahit 3 lang din kami... disadvantage to having the 3rd row seats always folded is that baka maputol ung straps na pangsabit as experienced by a few ka-Innova... mabigat din kasi ung 3rd row seats eh.
