You loose your warranty when you take your cars to unauthorized mechanics. Although makina yan, bihira magkaproblema, what if any problem arises?

Halimbawa na lang kung D4d ka, at may "woes" ka? Malaking gastusin na kapalit ng maliit na natitipid.

With the Toyota recalls being highlighted practically all over the world, I hope TMP will proactively address the problems associated with the D4D engines. In the other thread, future buyers were asking about the problems and were answered by their SAs as Toyota having addressed the issues already, What with bigger injection pumps? and double filters? They should be doing this on all D4Ds, No Excuses!! The mere fact that they made improvements on previous design was an acknowledgement that there is something wrong with the original set-up and , therefore, should be corrected on all existing innova's with or without symptoms, still under or with with lapsed warranty coverage.

i think the fellow was referring to a middle headrest on the 2nd row making it 3 headrests for the 2nd row bench.

i saw some in car accessory shops that are clip on types but i don't think this would be sufficient protection from whiplash in case of a rear end collision.

So mean,for example 1500kms na if i press the reset botton it will go back to 000. So the 1500kms saan mapupunta? curious lang hehehe..Digital na
kasi sa innova natin.not like my first car.

how much ung spoiler mo? Afraid ako sa drilling..barina ba gamit sa pag drill? haay!! nagdalawang isip ako sa spoiler eh.Out side casa ako pakabit.

Hi fellow innova owners. We just bought an Innova G M/T this January 22nd and we are still in the process of "face-lifting" the unit. Actually, we've already installed spoiler with LED and stepboard through Toyota Cubao and we're planning to install fender flare next.

Do you have an idea how much fender flare costs? We might buy it outside Toyota because their accessories cost too much! The spoiler and stepboard alone cost 20,000 pesos darn

Tama ka Shibby kaya nga sa casa ko palagi dinadala ang Innova D4D ko since 1st 1T KM PMS ko. Now, I'm nearing 25T KM, sa kanila pa rin doh mahal, ayokong mawala ang warranty niya. 3 years na Innova ko this coming October 2010. Btw, not all casas have bad services. At kung gusto niyo ng good service from casas, kaibiganin niyo ang mga mekaniko nila. Get their contact nos. Kung kinakailangan, bigyan niyo ng tips after ng service kung hindi bawal.

you have controls on the right side of the steering wheel opposite the audio control. yng info ang nakalagay, press mo siya once and hanapin mo na lang kung alin ang gusto mo. hth...

as for your consumption, my 2005 unit was and is very matipid. maybe some units are defective because my brother's 2007 innova is the same as yours 6-7kms/liter consumption. my unit consumes 9-10kms/liter in the city and 15-17kms/liter in the highway. the power is alright but compared to the ford everest 4x2 2.5L the power of the innova is only half of the everest.

wala po kasing nakalagay dun sa rear right side ko e.

saka ok po ba yung nabibili sa concorde na spare tire lock na tig 500 php?

try resetting your average fuel consumption. This will give you a different figures, resetting it in the city will give you a "pure city driving computation".

is your innova gas or diesel?

am not in agreement with "first light" in going to casa for your services.
i only went to casa for the first 1tkms and only go to casa for parts exchange (rear differential and fuel pump) defective kasi. now i'm nearing 50tkms and no problems at all.
super taga sa casa and it takes too long also. a simple oil change takes them half a day, in the gas station 1hour the most. and the cost only a quarter that of the casa.

sounds like you are referring to a mud guard

regarding the tire lock; yeah it's cheap.... it's a good buy, coz there are some issue(s) that spare tire are being smuggled (ninanakaw) by some car thief....

No, it has not been solved yet. Got a call from a D4D owner and in her case, the whole unit was replaced by the manufacturer.

Thanks Sir Fireblade. This is very disappointing. First time ko sana magToyota and I really want to get the innova g. I think I will just settle again with honda. Easy to claim pa sa warranty if ever magkaproblema, walang sakit sa ulo and very reliable brand as expected.

I hope toyota will fix the d4d issue asap. Wag na sana nilang hayaang mabasawan or bumagsak ang sales nila before sila kumilos.

I am not even affected anymore (my D4D was already sold) but would like to help out. Are you prepared to form a group of D4D owners that will go head on with TMP to finally address the issue and stop the case to case approach and it is under warranty anyway reply.

Remember that this will take time, effort and money to progress. Will you just sit down and watch from where you are right now or do you want to help? We will make this as structured as we can by setting a SMART mission and vision. I am giving this thread a week to progress, if not I will quite know where you stand.
