so basically change oil and oil filter lang for our 1k pms?
what if i got our innova running into flood caused by friggin ondoy? anything else needs fixing underneath the car? didn't know pasay was such a flood area, crap.
ps. let's give our blessing and support to those greatly affected by ondoy.
If you run on more than half wheel high flooded streets, it would be best for you to have your transmission and rear differential fluids change. They have breather and rubber seals on rotating parts which sometimes water seeps into it. You can have the fluid change at any gas station to be cheaper, it would be about 2.5 liter for differential and 2.5 liter for M/T transmission.
Mga bro I have this very sad experience sa Toyota Makati, Metropolitan Avenue kanina. I just got my car after being repaired for collision damage. Nagtagal din sya sa Toyota for almost 4 weeks. Kahapon kinuha ko sya, ayun mali ang color ng grills, My Innova is an E kaya body color ang grills, nilagay ba naman ay J... how can they overlook that. I inspected the unit sa bahay. First I notice bakit madumi ang loob.
Okay, that's TOYOTA MAKATI for everyone to be alert for.
Caveat emptor...
Thanks for sharing your story!
Somewhat related to the Toyota Makati sloppy works...
I noticed my Fortuner has a "tk" sound (metal tapping lightly on something) whenever I depress the brakes while in reverse. To hear the sound/noise, you need to open the windows and if you are around other vehicles, it becomes hard to hear.
Brought it to Toyota Makati and they recommended a brake cleaning for Php 8xx +, which lasted for almost three hours. After it was done, I checked for the sound but bec. of the loud music they were playing (for a promotion) I couldn't hear the sound so I just went home. When I got home and backing into the driveway, I start to hear again. So I brought it back to Makati after a few days (bec. of long weekend holiday). They tell me now that it is normal and they even showed me a customer's unit which made more pronounced metal sound.
Anyone experience this sound in their Innova while in reverse?
Problem now with most dealers, mechanics are OJT'sthey were just being supervise by a handful of trained and senior mechanics, and even the painters are contractuals.
Got same problem with these bad workmanship, so right now since I'm nearing my end of warranty. I do my PMS at nearby gas station where at least I could see what they are doing and at the same time I counter check their repairs.
Nagpa repaint din ako dati ng left fender and I found out that my left headlight has sanding marksplus I had to make them redo the painting 7 times

Hello there, I just need advice that I can relay it to a friend who owns a toyota innova. His Innova was submerged in water during typhoon "ondoy" at his house in san roque, marikina city.
Do you have an idea how much will it cost to make his innova running again?
Also what things should be do and do not to have the vehicle run again.
Thanks very much.
Go to this thread it will help you a lot.
NEED ADVISE: Vehicle/Engine submerged in flood water [MERGED]

Apart from Toyota Makati's bad service they also cause quite a bit of traffic due to vehicles parked in front of, coming into, exiting, or just moving out of the way for other parked Toyotas. Tsk. I hope they could at least provide for another lot for the cars they service.
I'm worried guys.. Going into our innova's first 1000 pms, i heard all the casa's are a full house, that means service will be alot worst than it already is. What if "magic" service gawin nila??
Given my situation, which is running innova through a wheel high flood, A/T transmission fluid and differential fluid lang ba affected the rest ok na?
Not to put Toyota Makati down but I also had a bad service experience with them. During my 10K PMS with them I reported the broken aircon rubber hose na pinagdadaluyan ng tubig para tumulo palabas. They didn't even bother check what the problem was or if they can replace the part. What I did was temporarily use a regular garden hose, cut the same size and fit it in. During my next PMS, I brought my unit to Toyota Ortigas and presto, they said that they will replace it since under warranty pa nga.
Kakaloko di ba!
mga sir tanong ko lang, i got my innova just 2weeks ago... napansin ko lang na medyo maingay makinaa/t, G, gas po yung akin..
parang diesel kse yung ingay nya...
also, when po EB ng mga innova owners want to join po sana
bro i would suggest you bring your ride out of town, have it serviced somewhere like Batangas or any other casa outside metro manila to avoid congestion at the casas here in metro manila, downside is it would mean additional expenses..![]()
but on the brighter you could bring families & friends during the trip..![]()
