Liv, ang alam ko, binibigyan tayo ng options on what oil we want to use at the same time, pang advertising na din ng Oil manufacturers. Sa Nissan, may valvoline.
The same na rin siguro sa mga accessories, may genuine na Toyota accessories or you can buy sa loob na rin ng dealer ang Shark, Carryboy na brand...

AFAIK since their introduction to the market in 2005, the top-trim level ( G and V variants) of the IMV vehicles never had an immobilizer system installed, at least for the Philippines market. The ones shown in the owner's manual are applicable to other markets and not our's.
Our 2005 CRV is equipped with an immobilizer system. The keys look very different bec. it has very few etching and grooves on it, almost as if its flat. I dont think it can be duplicated and whenver you start the car an indicator key lights up in the console to indicate the communication bet. the computer chip embedded in the key and the computer in the car's system. The IMV Toyotas dont have this.

Boss Mile2 I had able to make some test sa ride ko this morning ( Innova G manual 2007) eto yung mga nadiscover ko, 1st wala siyang immobilizer kasi I activated the alarm while inside the car then after sitting inside my ride for 1 minute I inserted my key and started the engine viola nag start siya kaya yari ang Innova ko madadala na ng mga magnanakaw 2nd meron siyang shock sensor pero very poor ang sensitivity nito, again I activated the alarm nag lock siya then after a minute I tap the top of my dashboard from gentle to medium hard at ayun nag alarm siya pero kailangan medyo malakas ang pag tap mo para ma-trigger yung sensor Hmmmm siguro kailangan ng konting adjustments.... kailangan siguro dito ang expertise ng mga Casa Boys... tama nga suggestion noong isang forumer natin dito na kailangan natin maglagay ng steering wheel lock para deterent sa mga magnanakaw

so confirm our ride is not equipped with immobilizer... i got steering wheel lock (solex) on my ride kaya lang doubt pa din ako how if the carnaper is in well dress and was able to open the door...if he is inside he can't be suspecious na if he is trying to saw the steering wheel lock not to mention our cars is tinted huh! its +1 to carnaper...for me the best talaga mag pa install ng immobilizer...hirap din kasi if we often go places and we left alone our beloved ride parang walang peace of mind...

You're absoletely right! there was a shock sensor underneath the dashboard. I tried just like you did and find the best spot to tap, it was on top of the instrument panel about 6 inches away. I did it three times this morning trying to locate the best spot to tap, no matter how hard you tap the right side of the dash board it will not make the alarm go but on the drivers side top of the dash board centering the instrument panel it will, even a slight slap.
It might be the sensor was sitting on a not so steady bracket, same problem with those aftermarket alarms that you will need to mount the shock sensor on a steady fixed metal. I have read this here in the discussion board of "Car Electronics" this link http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15372

Someone scratched the driver side of my innova from front to back. Mostly not too deep, sinde the scratch disappeared just by rubbing. But at the front and at the back there's a line 12-18 inches long that's still there. Bwisit! Must have happened in SM Mega yesterday, we were parked in the front open parking in Mega B, beside the pedestrian walkway leading to the main entrance.
Is it still possible to remove the scratches without too much cost?
A relative of mine in Canada had his Scion FR-S PPF'd and then had it ceramic coated. He says it's...
