Did you just get yours recently? That is a 2009 model since that color is no longer available for the 2010 G variant. You are lucky bec. I wanted one in this color when I was shopping around last Sept, but the dealer kept on saying that there is none available even in the factory.

2 months old na Innova ko.I waited for a month before this color became available. The dealer was suggesting i get black instead since black is available for G variants only, but I've read from a post here in tsikot ,sightings of a black 2009 innova J, goverment issued ata,I don't know if this is true.

I must say I purchased the right vehicle for me and my family.I was contemplating whether I should buy a brandnew vehicle since I'm a car dealer and I have in my disposal different brands of second hand cars. But when the 2009 facelifted innova went on display, Me and my family just fell in love with it so we bought one and aptly called her "Amie"

She runs 7.5kms per liter of diesel on mostly traffic routes like katipunan and visayas avenue area, but I've heard after 5thou kms she gets even better mileage.

The leather seats, I got from Coventry Square in Banaue. They are one of the pioneers in leather seats fabrication in banaue.I'm very satisfied with their work along with other tsikoteers like Sir OTEP.The rear spoiler w/ LED I got from Toyota Commonweath so as not to void the warranty of the car.And Amie now sports a new innova body sticker courtesy of Toyota Commonweath, it's actually a gift from my agent ,had to wait for 2 months for the sticker to become available and I must say it was worth the wait.

what do you mean by not being upright sir?

^If the car has that defect, wheel clearance on one side isn't the same on the other. So if you look at the car from the front, it looks tilted.

    When did you last check?

All 2009-2010 G and V variants have that "yellow" colored wood (as posted by downshift2). The darker (cherry wood stain) was used for G and V variants of 2005-2008.

    Re: Welcome to InnovaClub.Ph
Hi everyone! I'm new here but my I have been driving my Innova for 36 months now and have covered 86K+ km. I used to be very satisfied with my ride until I this last problem of "check engine" warning light coming out after a minute of idling the engine. The staff in toyota, CDO said that I have to replace my EGR which cost P10K+.
During the 1st yr of my vehicle, it stalled about 4 x and they replaced my fuel supply pump. In fairness to the dealer here, they are very quick to correct the problem within warranty period. They have even replaced my 2 front shock absorbers and 2 backdoor stay assemblies.
My current problem of the EGR was documented a day after my warranty expired even though I have told them about it earlier. Does anyone have the same problem with mine? BTW, I follow PMS religiously i.e. change oil every 5K km, less than 2 months in my case and I did it in the Casa during the warranty period. More power to Innova Club.

It is true, I saw this Black J 2009 Innova last week at Commonwealth and QC Circle as we drive side by side and it has red plate.

Does Toyota CDO uses OBD tester in doing the diagnostics?

It would be best if they use OBD during the CEL error to pinpoint the real cause. Usually CEL error manifestation was just due to dirty MAF (Mass Air-Flow) sensor.

Prior to Typhoon Ondoy, I got intrigued and measured my Innova E D4D's clearances and to my disappointment, there was a difference of 8 mm at the front and about 14 mm at the rear, tilting towards the left, at least as accurate as I can do it. Not noticeable when you look at the vehicle from the front or from the rear. But after Typhoon Ondoy, it became the least of my worries. Living in Marikina, our house and my Toyota Vios service vehicle, got fully submerged in the flood with all those thick mud. Luckily, my Wife, Son and myself where on our way to my parents house before the flooding. The innova became my everyday ride since then and for more than a week, it waded daily through those mud as we went back and forth to the house in doing our cleaning. The innova proved to be very reliable indeed. The fuel consumption went down a bit from the previous 10.5 to about 9.5 km/L (maybe because of using it everyday now or probably from trying to do a PUSHSTART!?). The only hickup I experienced was when the battery got discharged on that very same night of 26 September. It will continue to be my everyday ride as I wait for the other car to be completely restored (Now that is the question). I was thinking of sharing more of my Ondoy story but off topic na!

Hi guys! I'm planning to have side visors and mudguards installed on my car and basing from earlier threads, shops from evangelista sell cheap accessories. I'm planning to go there this week. Can you suggest a certain shop that sells the most affordable and quality products and service? Thanks guys!

Had my 1000km PMS today at Toyota Quezon Ave. Paid a total of P1189. That includes Toyota Mineral Oil and Toyota Oil Filter and the 20% discount coupon.

Ok naman service nila. Dami lang trabaho sa service area kaya medyo natagalan. 2 hours and we're finished. BTW, I also made an appointment for my PMS.
