Hi,
How things are guys, saw your EB pixs and that was cool. My Mom got her new toy a week back, Innova-E A/T. Looks impressive relative to its price. This thread is very informative, rock on Innova Club.
Cheers,

Hello folks. My first post here. I've scanned all 300++ pages of this thread and it has helped a lot in educating me about the Innova. BTW, It took me more than 3 daysto scan.
So, we're looking to get one very soon. Went to Toyota Marikina yesterday and this was their offer:
Unit: Innova J Gas M/T
Unit price: 763,000
Discount: 40,000
Insurance: 22,000
LTO: 7,500
Freebies: Mudguards in place of the free tint, seat cover, undercoating, the usual, pero naubusan ng payong
My wife knows one of the managers. I'm not sure if that helped in the discount. Humihirit pa kami, sasabihin daw mamya kung pede pa increase.
They told us that we can already pay for the unit but still be able to ask for a replacement if it doesn't satisfy us upon inspection (i.e. defects). As long as we don't "receive" the car yet. My first question is, is this the same as what some of you guys suggested to not pay for the unit until we check and double check and are very satisfied?
Kasi daw, they need us to pay the day before we see the unit, nasa Cubao pa yung car. I dunno, i think that's their SOP. Pero guaranteed daw na we can demand for another unit as long as di pa namin ni receive yung car.
My other problem is that I am seriously considering the Innova E Gas which is already available! Nga lang, I don't have the extra 100K. I think they can finance the missing 100K, kaso madami kaming gastusin, pahirapan pa rin to save for the monthly amortization (8k++). Although since bonuses sa office are coming up, that would provide some breathing room.
On the other hand, mas sulit I think ang E kasi meron na:
1. Driver airbag
2. Rear wiper
3. More color choices: + light green and flaxen, - white
4. Better wheels
5. Power windows and locks, etc etc
If I get these aftermarket later on, tingin ko hindi rin kalayuan sa 100K. If you have any advice for me, I would really appreciate it. I'm very undecided as of now.![]()
Tapos, in dollar pa pera namin hehe, problema pa yung pag depreciate ng peso these days.TIA!
Ohla,
I am a new owner of an Innova E-D4D A/T variant, I found this thread very informative, would it be alright to you guys if I join this club?
Thanks in advance.

Weigh your options first, do you really need the amenities in the E variant?
1. Driver side airbag
2. ABS (Anti-lock brakes)
3. Rear window wiper
4. Centralized locking
5. Power window
6. Child lock protector
7. Mag wheels
8. Additional color: light green & flaxen (J-blaze, silver & white)
My wife and I got the E because we decided on the color light green. So everything elses that is included came as a plus for us.

Its good you are considering the Innova as your ride to be.
Getting the E variant would be a better choice considering the added features vs the J. However, if for one reason or another you settle for the latter, it is still a great ride.
The freebies are ok but don't limit your sourcing to one dealer. You can try other dealers baka they might have other options.
My two cents...
Hi Liv, I saw the thread. Marami pa rin kasing factors. It can be a design flaw or may ginalaw na sa electrical. Eto ang maganda na may club. If design flaw man, the club can demand for recall and replace the necessary parts free of charge. Pwedeng supportahan din yung owner if proven na talagang fault ng car manufacturer. What do you think?![]()
sir if you can afford go to E variant those added feature will give you less worry if you intend to have it installed at the aftermarket + the aftermarket warranty can't match the casa can give also try to haggle the foglamp very functional in night driving and let the casa installed it...there are posted regarding faulty wires that creates fire...good luck!...
Go for the E-variant Dude, Me I had a blunder. I stick my mind on getting a E-D4D variant whereas I could have taken a G-M/T Gas unit. Could have been cheaper by 19K had I opted for G Variant with full options and very nice interior. Now I'm having sleepless night and too scared to go any where near to a G unit. But not on J, lol.
But on the other hand (you got different sets of fingers), additional 100K are tons of accessories that will give your J ride a totally different look from those Innovas out on the street. You can change your mags, tires, put on a wrap around skirt, change your seat cover and many things except though for rear wiper.
