You can buy the cut-out (tabas what they call) at Evangelista at P400/pair. The shop is located near the end of Evangelista St. if you are coming from EDSA, drive until you reach almost the other end nandoon yung small glass shop.

Pag nagtanong kayo sa mga other shops it will cost you 600-800 pero actually doon din sa shop sa dulo nila lahat pinagagawa.

Visibility ng cut-out is not exactly the same sa original dahil yung original ay nakaumbok. So nag-add na lang ako ng blind corner mirror yung bilog na naka-stick on sa side mirror.

Yung isang Innova owner na nanakawan din sa Village namin sa Bulacan that same day, bumili siya sa Banawe ng original marahil pitik din and cost P2,000/set. Per my investigation marami sa Village namin ang nanakawan ng side mirror that Midnight of Saturday and to my surprise after talking it out with some officemate it also happened to one of my officemate living in a Village in Marikina.

For the floor mats, you can buy the ready made floor covers with spikes underneath so it won't slip against the carpet at Banawe and it cost around P2,300 the last time I look around. The material is either vinyl or carpet, vinyl top with spikes is cheaper at P1,800 and the carpet top with spikes is P2,300. Sturdy Step Board is less P4,900.

For me, I just bought the 3M like matting at Handy Man it is sold per meter and I just cut it to whole length from second row to rear, I use old newspapers as pattern. I opt not to get the free matting from Toyota that's why when they delivered my ride the carpet flooring was stil wrapped with clear plastic.
Good suggestions! Will keep these in mind.

I'm happy with my ride and don't care about add-on accessories, My accessories are just the stepboard (I put this as a layer of protection on the running board), a set of mud guards and side visors, and Solar Guard tint. The exterior is already neat looking and too much accessories will spoil the looks IMO.
I agree. I prefer accessories that are functional than merely/primarily cosmetic/aesthetic. I also like a clean stock look than dressed up.

hindi naman sa pag pipilosopo pero pareho lang naman ang dumi kahit anong kulay ang interior, hindi nga lang gaano kita kapag dark color. so it's up to you if you want mukhang malinis pa or malinis talaga. And from experience, yung mga aftermarket accessories do not increase the resale value of your vehicle.

add up all the accessories you want to install then see how much difference is left sa price ng E or G variant.
Thanks. Actually, it's not much of an issue for me, sa misis ko lang. I didn't think about until she brought it up. Although, when it comes to cleaning, malamang it's going to be me.

Mile2, even with alarms are the side mirrors easy to steal?

That is also a problem we have with our Lancer, it takes all of 2 seconds to remove. I got into the habit of removing it myself when parking in sensitive areas and re-attaching it afterwards.

We initially considered an automatic variant thinking it would make handling easier, but it's going to stretch the budget again, and we're used to stick shift anyway.

It terms of handling, it drives like a car. Although there are going to be blind spots to watch out for (ie. thick pillar in the front, rear area when backing out, etc). Well thats what I observed when I test drove two G variant a/t (vvti and D-4D). Anyways, I used to drive a '93 Civic Esi Sedan before moving up to a Fortuner. Not much difference in terms of ease, handling, except for the blind spots.

Re: beige interiors. Its really not that bad to maintain. Btw, I havent really did a thorough cleaning of the interior since last year and its still clean and unsoiled. Of course, I never put the windows down (except for parking and toll), leave the doors open for a prolonged period, and its just mostly three passengers using the vehicle at any given time. No kids, btw. So that probably explains it.

Everything is functioning well. Magkano sir inabot new HU nyo?

User name ko Triple XXX because of my shirt's size and not because of you know what. Sarap ng fried bangus sir.

Anyway, thanks for your insights sir. I strongly recommend this product sir. Ganda sound. May abang na yun 2nd row door sidings nyo for this. Swak na swak.

Triple xxx- Yes sir, thats our innova. actually, di pa nabayaran at na-install kasi wala pa available unit, matagal ba talaga hintayan sa toyota makati? kasi nagtanong ako sa ibang dealers meron sila ready to dispose. about specs nung power windows, di ko alam, pati ung brand di ko rin alam! clueless talaga ako! kelangan bang malaman yun? ok, i'll call my agent tomorrow and ask him the brand and specs and post it here. thanks!
I recommend Toyota Shaw, look for Mikko. Makakarami kayo ng freebies. Umikot ako dati sa 10 dealers. Toyota Makati so-so lang e. Re power windows, interested kaming mga variant J owners dyan. Na-post mo kasi very cheap quote for this. E ang alam lang namin na brand e Shark which sells it for p17t. If you can get it's specs, paki post na lang. Thanks.

My wife and I are more or less decided in getting a gas Innova (J or G manual) as the family car.

I'm leaning towards the G so it would have everything and I won't think about upgrading stuff anymore (except seat covers from boy chincuaco? and the sound system eventually). Also, I think there are some items that are not upgradable (tama ba?) like the sensors/warnings for door, seatbelt etc, the multi-display, or it wouldn't make too much sense to have upgraded/installed afterward.

The price difference from the J is considerable though. My wife also pointed out that the beige interior color is dirt prone, i.e., "dumihin," and harder to keep clean-looking over time. I'd like to ask the G owners if this is really the case.

The alternative option is to go for the J, with the following pre-installed: rear wiper, rear defogger, central locks and alarm, backup sensors, power side mirrors(?) and side molding. I might be able to ask for some of these as freebies. I asked about power windows and the agent said they don't install it on the J as it would require changing the door paneling entirely. They also don't recommend after market options.

The agent suggested the E variant to approximate some of the features of the G variant, but we don't want diesel.

Your suggestions, comments are appreciated. Thanks!
Sir gaol, everybody's buying the J variant. Waitlist na nga sa ibang dealers e. Yun G variant p80t discount na ang promo. Matinding indicator na yan sir. I bought the J variant. It's the best value for your money!

I used wet cloth with detergent soap and a dry cloth to clean the interior, very easy to clean and spot the dirt. Dumihin siya pero it is an advantage kasi you will feel the need to clean them right away. Before I decided I checked all models...mas nakakahinga ako ng maluwag sa beige interior, no offense sa mga naka-gray interior pero for me madilim siya tignan.

The biege interior matched well with wood finish garnish and the beige moquette seats and side panel cloth garnish. You won't be wishing to put a leather seat anymore with the moquette seats

What I don't like across all model is the platic A pillar and sidings, damn if your seat belts are not in used and was resting on the sidings it produces rattles. Minsan kasi pag ginamit ng passenger di naman binabalik sa hook kaya most of the time it rattle the sidings.
Sir Mile2, I agree with everything you wrote here. Kaya for me J variant ok na.

TripleXXX, saang dealer yang nag-quote ng P80K discount for the G variant? Sa J P30K pa rin ba ang discount? Or is that their promo for March now that the raffle promo for the 10 vios ends today?

Actually if this is the case, it shrinks the gap between the J and G somewhat--not very much but I think enough to swing some to buy the G instead.
