Ah..bec. when you said Baywalk. It is the small bay-side area/strip directly beside Roxas Blvd (fr US embassy until Manila Yacht Club).

I also know that place you mentioned beside CCP complex. They also have Dencio's there and yes the parking there is quite sufficient but I dont know if they call that area as "baywalk".

I've been using my innova for a year now. And, all I can tell you is that the vvti's performance surpassed my expectation. The engine is good...matipid pa sa gas.

marlon ithink we have the same problem. did you felt any vibration sa pedal, sa manibela, and flooring. i also notice nag din yung rpm nasa 4 na when 130km/h ko. dissapointed din ako. may odo is reading 2600 na. i cant accelerate na up to 120 becoz of the sound ng engine parang sasabog. see my post sa last page or march 28 ang date. i want to know bout your innova performance these days. tnx

You should not be driving that fast in a break-in period. Hindi maganda ang magiging performance ng engine niyo even after the break-in.

I have a vvti engine and I can drive at 140 km/h smoothly. An extra noise is normal at this speed because of the air that passed your car and the engine's extra power.

on the contrary... you should do that near the middle to the end of the break-in period... gently accelerating should do it. just don't stay at a constant speed.

good luck on your purchase. i suggest that you go to the banks like psbank, bpi etc. they offer good rates and even give you rewards aside from the discounts that toyota will give you.

Hi guys,
I have previously relegated my D4D Innova J M/T to school bus duty for my kiddos due to the D4D engine woes paranoia. During the Holy Week, I had the confidence to bring my Innova out of town (buti na lang hindi ako itinirik).

At 2,000rpm 5th gear, I only get 75kph. I also kept in mind the posts of drin innov G and Titleist983k on the top speed and the expected engine noise and vibration at speeds nearing 130kph. I experience acceleration resistance at around 105kph afterwhich parang you have to inch your way up to get any faster. I still haven't ran my D4D Innova M/T beyond 110kph. At 110kph, smooth naman yung takbo nya and no vibration or unusually loud noise whatsoever but you can already feel the acceleration resistance of the engine - parang hirap sya. Do you guys observe the same thing (D4D na M/T)?

Also, what is your speed at the following engine rpm (D4D na M/T)
2,000rpm - 75 kph ???
2,500rpm - ???
3,000rpm - ???

Ako may leak yong 4 shocks lahat sira, pero ang nakakatawa matagtag parin.

Pano nila nlaman na may leak ung 4 shocls mo? Kelangan pa b naming mg complain or kunwari magcomplain na matagatag ung ride namin?

ang alam ko dyan eh... mas maingay ang engine pag ordinary oil.. mas pino ang galaw ng engine pag fully synthetic. yun kasi ang maganda sa mga bagong engine models. synthetic.

I notice this on my 10k PMS they lifted my Innova and rotate the tires while the tires is removed i notice this oil leaks on my 4 shocks syempre i claim they should replace it. Sabi nila order na sila papalitan naman daw kasama na yong strap on the 3rd row seats to tighten the folded seats. Tama ba? Basta yon na yon.
