well how about mixing it with biodiesel as other threads here have mentioned? it cleans the engine by flushing out carbon buildup quite effectively.

Hi Innova Boy, yup kanila nalang yung 10% discount, otherwise yung service nila wont improve. Kung lahat ng so called "survey" ay Excellent ang rating.

I think we can't rely on our readings. As Innova_boy is saying, around 85% lang ang accuracy. His claimed ay tama para sa akin. Talking deeply with this subject, sensors or sending unit is coming from our fuel tank consisting of float, resistance and wiper that utilizes electric current. The amount of current available will directly operate the fuel guage which is also feeding MID (multi-information display). Resistance varies according to temperature. Also, actual tank level is not linear to our guage readings. That is, 1/4 level in our guage maybe still 1/3 in our tank. Besides, reading during winter is far different during summer. One good example is the fuel level. You will have different reading on your level guage according to temperature with the same actual tank level. Since same principle applies, inaccurate readings will be registered in our digital meter.
Malabo pa rin ba? Try this site for more information: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/fuel-gauge.htm

I think our MID is accurate because it is utilizing microprocessor which I think calibrated prior installation. The main thing in question here is the source. That is, the sending unit which is mechanically operated according to fuel level. The information forwarded to our MID is based on the available current which is directly proportional to the available resistance. The resistance itself is not accurate. Same level of fuel but varies in resistance according to temperature gives different current values. If the current supplying the MID is not accurate, how can we achieve correct readings. This is my personal understanding why we can't rely 100% with our readings. One thing more, I observed that the outside temperature reading is not accurately correct based on the actual temperature. The temperature is different between parked and running. Don't worry mga bro, I will research more.

    bongliza,

I was talking with a sales rep from Toyota Dagupan yesterday and she said prices for the Innova would once again increase on the first week of July

She couldn't give me exact figures though. Would you have any idea how much the jump in prices will be?

Guys, have seen this: (cut from this site: http://www.motioncars.com/autobuzz/a...lesmay2005.htm)

The Innova, second of the three IMV Models launched by Toyota, reigns supreme in the Multipurpose Vehicle (MPV) Category. With only more than three months in the Philippine Market, the Innova recorded 4,642 units in YTD sales, and 1,203 in May alone. The Innova's YTD sales comprise more than 41 percent of the total MPV market and more than 12 percent of the total Philippine automotive market. This makes the Innova, once again, the undisputed Best Selling Vehicle of the of the Philippine Automotive Industry.

Hmmm....parang narinig ko na yan ah...last May, then June, ngayon July? Although nagtaas nga sila nung J-variant. Marketing ploy yata nila yan eh
