Bro ang tagal ko na sa tsikot forums kaso until now (nakakahiya man) i don't know how to attach a picture sa post.
by the way have you checked you gas tank assembly kung may dent na ba siya? nakalubog papaloob? yung dent nung sakin is medyo malaki na, after siya nung brace that supports the gas tank. Tapos dun sa edge siya nag leleak. After turning off the engine it will leak for a while, patak patak then it will stop na din. I'll try to check later kung may handwritten number yun gas tank ko, ano kaya yun? parang identification number?
By the way hindi ba advisable na magpa full tank? after ko kasi malaman na nagleleak yun gas tank ko iniwasan ko na muna magpakarga ng marami. siguro maximum ko na pinakarga is 10 liters.

It looks like that to me,- maybe they were monitoring some batches in the tank deliveries? Not sure...
1. Post the pics in one of the filesharing sites like photobucket.
2. Get the url (http:://www.photobucket.com/username/directory/filename.jpg for example)
3. Insert after the url. This will signify that you are attaching an image to your post
4. That's it bro.,- you have posted a picture.

Good luck again in finding a good repair shop.

Finally got my gas tank repaired. I think its more practical than buying a new gas tank assembly. Sad to say i had my charcoal canister checked by a mechanic and he said kailangan na nga daw palitan. I tried looking sa banawe kaso ang hirap humanap and may mahanap ka man ka-presyo din ng presyo sa casa. As of now i don't shut my filler cap totally, parang nakalapat lang siya so the pressure from the gas tank can escape since ayaw na talaga mag function nung charcoal canister ko. Im thinking may masama bang effect if you leave your filler cap open?.
By the way, my cousin owns a 2005 model ayun nabutasan din siya ng gas tank last week. nagpunta siya ng casa to have his gas tank assembky changed pinalitan naman. I asked if the service advisor advise na palitan yung charcoal canister niya kaso hindi naman pinalitan. Im thinking bakit kaya ganun ang toyota? hindi ba nila alam na yun ang deffect ng design ng inniva kaya nabubutasan ng tank?.

My first gas tank replacement
Only lasted less than a year, it was replaced by my insurance company plus my insurance participation fee. TMBC did not replace the charcoal canister and filler cap then. All the while I thought my first gas tank got hit by hard object so I had my welder build me a gas tank skid plate that will cover the whole gas tank floor but I was wrong it was really a factory defect either on the Charcoal canister or the Filler cap. My replacement gas tank again leaked on the same spot even with skid plate protection.
TMBC workaround while I await approval of my petition for full warranty on the gas tank warping defect was they took apart the innards of the Filler Cap and removed the tiny plastic mesh filter inside the Filler Cap to relieve negative pressure build up.
2nd Gas Tank replacement
Yes, nagpalit ako ng Gas Tank Assembly, Charcoal Canister and Filler Cap all replaced by casa at no cost because I formally write a letter to TMBC President that this is a factory defect citing with pictures of my skid plate protector. This was my second gas tank replacement and the warping gas tank floor problem was solved.
I would highly suggest to replace the Charcoal Canister to avoid recurring warping gas tank problem. Try to call Gant Auto Supply if they have this part. Use the search function of tsikot for Gant's phone number.

Thanks sir mile2!
