Sir, Maraming factors ang kelangan i-consider pag nag-ooverheat habang naka aircon:
1. A/C system high pressure (beyond normal) - could be caused by dirty / clogged condenser, poor ventilation, faulty drier & expansion valve
2. Insufficient ventilation - could be caused by loose radiator fan (need to check the silicon oil). In my case, though wala naman overheat, nagdagdag din ako ng auxiliary fan para mas madaling lumamig o di mahirapan yung system lalo na sa tag-init. Originally, the 1 condenser (no auxiliary fan) / 2 evaporator set-up of Tamaraw FX is not good specially in our hot summer weather
3. Clogged Evaporator - Compressor keeps on pumping but the evaporator fails to deliver the cold air, thus the overworked compressor / system
4. Dirty or clogged radiator
5. Faulty Thermo valve

I would suggest, check the first three items as discussed above.

I already replaced my Tamaraw FX with a Tamaraw FX Revo I really wasn't really planning on replacing her as we've been thru a lot ups and downs, Bine-baby ko pa nga eh, and truly enjoyed her performance. But my brother kept on insisting that its about time to upgrade, and since he'll be the one to assist on the financials, I agreed. Yes its an upgrade, but all I can say is that, its still worth, in owning an FX! Swerte nga nung matanda na nakabile, para daw kotse kung manakbo, napaka swabe daw

Check your engine Sir. Does it consumes too much fuel? Probably your engine (or carb) ejects too much gas causing unburnt fuel, thus creating or leaving a somewhat gas smell along your exhaust pipes.

Sir can this be solved if I change to an electronic igniter/Carb?
what can I do to remedy this issue?

If your existing ignition system works properly, then the Electronic igniter won't do as much as the cause of problem still exist. I suggest you bring your car to a Carb specialist and let him see if the carb is still suitable for an overhaul or replacement. Usually, it just needs cleaning and replacement of several parts such as gaskets, jets, floater valve, etc. The technician should also make sure that the floater is calibrated / leveled properly to eliminate fuel starvation or excessive fuel supply. Make sure also that all your vacuum lines within the carb is working properly.

I already bought a vios j, bro. although yung tamaraw fx ay nandito pa sa akin, awaiting for my sister to pick it up para ibenta. like you, I will also miss the tamaraw fx, esp. it's yung tanaw na tanaw mo lahat lalo na pag paatras ka he he he.

I already tried Caltex Delo Gold and Castrol GTX Diesel oils. So far good results.

Gamit ko dati sa 2C ko Caltex DGU, pero ngayon Shell Rimulla R4-X na mas mura kasi at parehas namang okay yung performance!
