This is the effect of no LEMON LAW. Legally they can get away with it and they will! Recalls involve a lot of money so as long as they can get away with it tuloy ang ligaya!

If Isuzu Alterra also uses the Denso CRDi system, just like Toyota D4D equipped vehicles, which also uses the Denso CRDi system, why are all the complaints coming from Toyota D4D owners? Why there seems to be no complaints coming from Isuzu Alterra owners?

    These are my guesses:

    1. The Alterra may have less problems due to a better fuel filtration system.
    2. Assuming that they have the same problem, Toyota's situation will be more pronounced as they have a bigger market share than Alterra.
    3. Isuzu may be replacing their faulty pumps outright to prevent any public outcry.

Dati nag search ako ng reviews ng d4d innova sa other countries lke india and thailand. Sa India lang, madami sila kalaban na Crdi systems like from Mahindra and tata. Pero bakit anf D4d duon wala ata problema. Mas malinis ba ang krudo nila dun kesa dito sa atin?

Specs for specs talo ang d4d ng toyota compared sa ibang manufacturers.

I will try to upload some pics sometime soon.
Thanks Dieseldude. Will wait for the pics.

Yung Toyota naman kasi is known for its reliable gas engines but not for its diesel engines. Pag diesel engines, magaling yata diyan yung Isuzu (not sure).

    germans/korean/european use bosch crdi systems
    americans use delphi crdi systems
    japanese use denso crdi systems

mas matagal nang ginagamit ng bosch ang crdi kaya perfected na nila ito
bago pa man inadapt ng japanese carmakers, kaya in my opinion parang
mas superior talaga ang bosch over denso pagdating sa crdi

yung irerelease na crdi vgt-r engine ng face lifted hyundai santa fe on march or april, will be detuned in order to adapt to our countrys dirty diesoline, at least hyundai is doing something unlike toyota na benta lang ng benta kahit alam nilang meron problem ang system nila

the bad thing is the new santa fe will have 7ps less than what was
originally planned meron sila ginawa mga adjustments para maging compatible siya sa local diesoline naten, but the good thing is it will still
have 193 horses squeezed out of the 2.2L bosch crdi system

we own a toyota revo and a corolla although di sila d4d, susuportahan ko
pa din kayo sa laban niyo, kaya niyo yan...

Could you please include Innova gas tank leak problem? Negative presurre causes the gas tank floor to have a huge dent and crack on the same spot (the gas tank floor beneath the front strap). Gas tank assembly cost P20K++

I myself got this problem twice and I know some more tsikoteers who have experienced the same. I could post some pictures of warped gas tank on Saturday.

    thanks

Please do post the pictures. I will carry my notebook and broadband to show to them how consumers feel about their product.

Guys, need your help here.. i went to a gas station for fuel refill. my fuel gauge had a warning sign ON. I told the gas boy full tank until 1 click.. it clicked eventhough gauge still in 3/4 position. the gas boy told me it is normal if the nozzle detects hotness or pressure from the gas tank.. im not sure if i will believe him...any idea?
