I cant sell the Mini..it was a gift to my wife so its in her name and she loves it. And so do I haha. Depreciates like hell but super fun .

I will probably sell the Mustang....as its easy to find another in the used Market. I cant drive it as much as I used to

As for the expedition...i knew what i was getting into when i bought it with the discount. Its kinda tricky w d gas but this will be our family minivan that replaces the Carnival. Its big roomy capable comfy .

I also cannot sell it cause its the company car. It becomes mine after 5 years pa. And while i thought i could have waited for the LC300 and made that the company car...toyota flatly told me no cash buyers at the onset. Meaning it will have to be financed. My company wont allow that because the car has to be in its name and not in some bank's . They basically give me a budget and I add extra to buy the car i want. So the expedition made sense for me.

It would be a mistake for me to sell either LC200 after a lot of hard thinking. They will keep their value (look at the LC76).

I know this is a silly problem given what the world is going thru. And i Recognize am lucky to have it. It isnt lost on me either that the optics look shallow. So thanks for putting up with me.

In the end practicality (LC200) wins out over passion (Mustang)

As for Dubai version LC300 way overpriced. The local LC200 premium is better equipped than 80% of the Dubai versions. Yes there are a few versions which have the ride height control but with their pricing..mag Lexus 450d ka na lang.

These gray market importers get the GXR versions of the LC200 (mid spec) vs the VX versions locally (1 rung below worldwide TOTL ZX spec) and then just add tacky body kits, mags and aftermarket headunits and headrest monitors. Look at the gauge clusters , rear HVAC and lack of crawl 4wd functions of the dubai specs. Ang dami nauto.

Looks like 6m for this badboy (local version).

I like the captains chairs, front diff lock, safety and driving aids, rear seat folding configuration, new transmission, new look, new digital toys, fingeprint start stop, more power and torque (though id have wanted it to be a v8 instead of a v6 diesel), overall larger size for more space inside, panoramic roof, eKDSS , etc.


Really leaps ahead now in terms of content vs the LC200.

You beat me in posting this bro! Hahahaha!

One big change is the 3rd row seats which now folds flat to the floor as compared to the current LC200 in which the 3rd row seats flips and tips up sideways.

With TMPC now bringing in more features to their vehicles based on their recent launches, I expect the LC300 series to be very feature packed. I expect a more premium JBL sound system than the one found at the Fortuner LTD aside from Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Plus all the niceties already leaked.
