The Expedition V6 Ecoboost will surely be quicker. These American big-engined gas-fed are just quick and fast for their size. I have driven the Nissan Armada 5.6L (same as the local Patrol Royale) in California back in 2019 and it offered good performance, about as quick or a bit better than my FXT in terms of acceleration.

I doubt it. The existing LC200 V8 diesel is not known to be quick unless maybe tuned. If the new LC300 has a significantly more powerful engine and a lighter frame, it might shed some ticks off or maybe a second. Unless they opted to put a big V8 NA gas or big V6 turbo gas engine on it, it will be as quick as the American full-size SUVs.

The current Expedition 3.5L V6 Ecoboost sprints from 0 to 100kmh in around 6 seconds. That behemoth is even quicker than the usual big-engined midsize sedan or a powerful turbo compact.

Yes, yun talaga malulupet when it comes to acceleration. With lesser hp, maiiwan talaga ang mga similarly-sized diesels especially mas mabibigat din sila. Walang binatbat kahit gano pa kataas ang torque.
