Hi sir, can you share the links. May napapansin akong parang "uga"/vibrate pag nag rotate around 180 degrees, not sure if normal yun.

Para din macheck ko for other issues. Hirap na, baka may naiignore akong possible issue. :D

    Edit: sorry if medyo OT

Fc ng manual tranny is very good. Also with the rev matching feature, it is easily the best manual tranny as per reviews.

i have closely observed the 2.4g last night and this is my observation. you will feel the difference if you are used to the old fortuner. in my case, my latest 2014 that i sold. in downshifting or descend from speed above 40, it kinda tells you that yes you have reached 40 slowing down by a very small negligent slip feel sakto pag tama ng 40. there is no jerk feel and banayad naman on both power and eco mode.

    hth.

I noticed that as well, perhaps these are fortuner haters or SA from other dealerships. Can they post videos about the jerking issue for 4x2?

Tbh, I rarely post on forums but if you bought a 2million car from a reliable brand but unexpectedly felt like a poor quality built car then you wouldn't hesitate to warn others what they should expect. I don't think we are trying to discourage anyone but just a fair warning as to what you can expect as the service department says it is "normal." We are only trying to look for solutions and it would be best for other owners with the same experience to share feedback or solutions. I have attached my repair order as proof that it really exists. The jerking issue has to be felt and cannot be seen or heard in video. Just to update, I am having my first 1000km oil change done early (just around 380km) to rule out whether it is transmission oil related. The service advisor is advising me that the jerk felt during 20-40kph is because of the shift in gears but they will try and check it out.
