2016 Toyota Fortuner Jerky Transmission

It seems like the thais have issues with the 2.4 AT transmission. Transmission is jerking during downshifts. Our forts are from indonesia but they share the same Aisin tranny. They are pointing towards the tcm&ecu.

Anyways i think cox is the first one to have this similar issue. Not alot of forum members yet with the new forts.

Boss till now TMP told me they dont have any idea. Mga tech team toyota phil are clueless they are sending problem to region daw maybe thailand or let the japanese solve the problem.

Sabi nila sa sa 4x4 lang daw problem because of downhill assist. But now you have experience it na. Sorry for us.

Downhill assist with engine braking. Daming features sa transmission and engine. I think they need to change firmwares or solenoids.

Transmission costs 250,000 baht out of warranty. Hehehe

but, bro, cox's fort is still within warranty i suppose. would toyota replace the tranny or replace it with a new one?

Sken po boss and sa tita ko.until now nsa casa pa rin po yung sken.14days na.parang gusto pa nila lumusot sinisisi pa magwheels ko kung stock daw di nman gnun kalakas jerk.sabi ko.malakas or indi may problem why not fix it.parang dating sa knila notmal daw sa matic ang may conting jerk.well sa dami nmen matic na kotse now lng ako nkrinig galing sa manager yung normal.may shoft shock problem po ang hilux and fortuner now.in my case its1-2.sa tita ko 2-3.it jerks sa middle.it you can feel it.sabi ko if ayaw nila tulungan customers nila all i can do is warn the other potential buyers kasi buying a new car is not a joke.u want a new one to avoid headache tpos youll end up di mo mgamit kotse mo kasi nasa casa and they wont replace it ofcourse all they will do is fix it.for a new car owner.di nman ata tama.lalo na tranny problem.yun lng po. 09064673167

Affected din po ba ung 2.4 AT 4x2? I'm still waiting for my unit and if 4x2 are also affected i will not hesitate to consider other brand.

Hello po new member po.i got an issue with the hilux po.top of the line 2.8 4x4 my tita has the same issue 4x2 model.sa tita ko in a week the tmp decided to replafe the tranny that is sa north edsa.mine is at fairview.prang gisto pa nila limusot ssying pgstock tores daw di nman gnun noticeable.pg yung magwheels ko mas malakas daa.so i said still may problem diba.why not try to do do something.tpos theres a poibt ba i even ask the manager na are you telling me normal tong car nmen and you want us na pgtyagaan nyo yung smen.i ask him directly if hes the owner will he drive it for the rest of the cars lifespan like that.he cannot even answer yes or no.to tell you honestly we went to cebu last week may case din sila dun.hrap lng you paid for a new car all they will fo is fix and first record mo sa casa may tranny problem na.what if i wanna sell it sa dulo.yung sa tita ko she ask that question and its voice recorded.they answered daw maam peede nman nten idelete yung case nyo sa records nyo.naisip ko lng.so if you wanna buy a certified used car.kaya pala nila doctorin ang records. by the way with many cases starting from hilux at hindi lang dito sa pinas still isolated case? I hope tmp should address this issue asap. nong nagtest drive ako ng all new Fortuner tinanong ko din itong jerky transmission sabi ng SA sinisiraan lang daw, well yong unit na gamit namin walang issue smooth na smooth ang shifting, pero naisip ko din mga mga owner at nakaexperience ng issue lalo may mga nabasa narin ako dito, it's not fair.
