Yung unit namin 2 times ko pa lang nararamdaman yung shift shock/transmission jerk. Sinubukan ko din i recreate sa lahat ng mode pero hindi ko naramdaman. Gusto ko sana ipacheck sa dealer ko kaya lang inconsistent kaya baka wala sila makita.

Edit: 4x2 G 1 month old almost 4k mileage

I love the positivity of people in this thread. Hindi naman daw yata design issue, baka minalas lang. Pero kung Hindi Toyota to at Korean brand malamang sasabihin ng iba na bulok talaga Korean brand

Our first cars we're toyota din. Fanboy here before.
2012 when we got a Hyundai. Then 2014 we got another Toyota.
But i find the Toyota more problematic.
Seems like "Toyota quality" somehow degraded.

If you ask me cars na maramimg demand at marami in production is more prone sa poor quality control.
Nalalayo na sa topic.

In anycase I hope this gets resolve as early as possible baka maging parang d4d issue na they kept selling the car even if they know na may issue. Ang nangyari pa instead of solving the problem na kaslalanan nila yung ibang customer na walang alam pinagkakitaan pa ng mga dealership.

Brought my 2.4V (558km in the odometer) unit to the casa for road test. Na detect yung jerking naman and forwarding the problem to TMP for resolution.

This is regarding the issue of the tranny jerking for the 2016 Toyota Fortuner.

INVESTIGATION:
VEHICLE MANUFACTURE SUSPECT THE CONDITION IS CAUSED BY THE FAST RESPONSE OF BRAKE 3(B3) AND SOLENOID 4 (SL4).

Solution: REPLACEMENT OF TRANSMISSION ASSY. AND SOFTWARE REPROGRAMMING.

This is their solution to the problem as per TMP
