I havent driven a fortuner but why would I want to know the speed is 40?

your right! the new fortuner is a good ride having own both isuzu and mits i say this one will really be very satisfactory

same here. currently having an isuzu and a mitsu. told myself many times that its gonna be toyota (again) lumaki ako sa toyota in the 70s up to the 80s.[emoji106]

Naglabas din kami ng unit 4x2 G AT. Ayaw magpapigil ng father ko kahit nasa abroad sya. I will update this thread after a couple of days or weeks if our unit is also affected.

Its very irritating. Not olny downhill but when your running 40 down then you really feel the big thump!
Specially manila traffic. Your really bugbog, till now TMP is still in the dark what to do. Called toyota customer service tech team still cointing their hairs.

No problem accelerating, crusing speed. Sarap tumakbo lakas makina. Quiet, only thing when slows down. Expect the batok

may ganito na naman sa fortuner??? I find it hard to believe na walang alam ang mga techs nila.... ganyang ganyan din ang style nila sa 1st gen fort ko.... yung d4d issue. To think na schoolmate ko nuon is a top exec sa dealership ng Toyota and yet he still insisted na theres no such issue. makalipas ang ilang taon (at warranty), ayun sa pms ko kesyo may kelangan daw ireplace na chuva achuchuchu, +40k pesoses ang binayaran ko..... nakakadissapoint lang, kasi walang ngipin ang batas sa atin. much like the SUA issue ng Montero, ito kayang Toyota will continue to deny this jerking issue?? buti nalang dipa ko nakakabili, I learned a lot not to get the 1st gen of any car kase dun pa lalabas ang mga issues.... wait & see na muna ako.... I hope this thread gets updated pag merong new uhhhhh updates. :-)

Ang sinabi naman ng SA sa kamaganak ko normal lang daw yon at safe to ride nothing to worry about hehe! paniwalang paniwala naman mga kamaganak ko sa promise ng toyota SA. fortuner G A/T and this is their first vehicle. wala pang 1k jerkey na parang may sumasabit o sumasalta sa loob, toog! after warranty period imagine ikaw na magbabayad ng transmission replacement kung sakaling sablay nga ito. after 3 years siguro ang facelift or earlier damage limitation kumbaga.

You'll on feel the jerking when you're on power mode. But will not feel it kapag naka eco or normal mode na.

i have new fortuner 2016 2.4V AT. no issue on all modes no jerking whatsoever
