Abnormal jerkiness on downshifting deceleration could indicate a torque converter lock-up issue. In the long term, if uncorrected, it may result in premature wear or damage to the torque converter or clutch packs.
So yes, it's a defect that affects function and safety.

My SA said that this could be tactics to drag the sales. Pero I told him I'll just have to cancel my reservation and plan to acquire the unit maybe next year when the issue is resolved.
Refund will be a week daw.

Again,- the money question is, why would this have escaped their design, validation and much later,- outgoing QA?
Has anyone test-driven the Fort earlier (before deciding to buy)?
Might as well go back to the 4AT in the interim..
