I'm wondering if my correlation ba yung tagtag ng Fortuner sa brain damage. My father has been driving a 2009 Fortuner for 10 years now, and during that time, his business went bankrupt, his wife left him, and his children never wants to see hin again. Meanwhile, his father owns the first generation Fortuner, he's 80 now, but since owning the Fortuner, he has drastically lost all his memories. He now has alzheimers and showing signs of dementia. I'm wondering if the tagtag of the Fortuner caused this. Kayo? May napansin ba kayo na naging bobo nung bumili ng Fortuner?

Tagal pa po yan. If you can remember, the first gen had its minor facelift after 4 years. First gen was introduced circa 2005 and the initial facelift was on circa 2009, the 3rd and final facelift was done circa 2014 with the 2.5 eng getting the VNT.. Not quite a fan of TRD (also with ralliart of mitsu, nismo of nissan, etc), as they are just aesthetic enhancements of our daily rides, UNLESS, you are into racing. I dont see them having a big functional advantage over the OEM. But that is my opinion and to each his own...

Alam ko na aesthetics lang po yung skidplate, pero hindi po ba sya maging sagabal sa parts ng ilalim ng engine ng Fortuner? would it not affect components during oil change?
