I need to replace may battery soon. Ano po ba tamang specs ng battery for 2.4V? Some say 3sm & some DIN 74. Ano po ba difference nla? By the way, I'm aiming for Amaron. Tnx

i believe that info is pasted on the battery case itself?
    or in the owner's manual?

but most battery shops know it, also. just tell them, "pang fortuner...".
call for availability, and for price.

    good luck.

The last part always makes me smile. Just last time, those cars overtook me then I saw them queued up the toll booth. I passed them and as I overtook a truck, they all lined up with that truck all the way to Subic.

My fort is 2.5 years already and travelled 28,000km with my stock tires using 29 psi. No problem so far

Happened on our old ride before.
Umatras at nabangga yung kariton ng isang vendor kahit naka engage ang handbrake. Buti walang ibang nadamay since pumunta sa kabilang street yung sasakyan.

Turns out, the cable snapped... Or so what i remembered.

Sh!t happens lang talaga. Malas nya nahulog sa river.

That's why I make it a habit even before to make sure to shift to "P" when parked. Handbrakes are just not reliable enough. This is for AT vehicle. For MT, guess you really have to turn the engine off and put it into gear. Safer.

for some reason, my toyota handbrake levers feel "engaged" as there is some resistance already.
but in truth, hindi pa engaged.
i have to exert extra oomph.
and for extra measure, i put the stick to P or to segunda.
and remember that the stick is on segunda, when i start her later.

i should really have my handbrakes re-adjusted.

when the handbrake cable snaps while being pulled, it is immediately apparent. nawawala ang resistance on pulling.
but if it snaps later, when the car is un-attended...
    karitons beware.
    heh heh.

I'd get the Fort in a heartbeat. I'd only get a pickup if I need the bed.

Update ko lang sa fortuner 2016 G DSL A/T that I intend to purchase at 1.2M; the test drive was nice, the ODO show around 24,000 kilometrage. Can anyone confirm that this fortuner has no backup sensors, as I see none? Anyway, how much kaya if I would have a back-up camera, and not just sensors, installed by Toyota casa?

Is there a downloadable PDF file for the Fortuner's owners's manual?

I'm in Visayas bro so it's starts in F, and may kasamang sticker siya with a chip embedded in it kaya you need to cut out your tint in your front windshield.

Do we still need to cut out a portion of the tint even if non-metallic naman naka install?

    this is my opinion.
every year, we have to stick on, the new sticker.
do we stick it beside the old one? or do we cut a small window, stick the sticker there, and the next year, remove the old sticker and stick the new one in its place?
