Sun/moon roofs can leak whether you use them or not. Rare case, sure, but the rubber seals can thin and the drain holes can clog.
I have a Lynx and an XV, both with moon roofs. Haven't had problems either, but their covers are much thicker. The problem with a panoramic sun roof is that the cover is usually a thin mesh that lets a lot of light through.
I'm not saying it's a deal breaker, since I'm obviously still interested in the Vitara. But if the GLX didn't have a sun roof, the decision would be so much easier.
it can leak, and the engine can explode too right, and the fuel tank can leak also, brake failure too. eps failure din.
lahat na lng failure.
sa tingin mo hindi nila tine-test yan?

test drove the unit sa MOA kanina and it’s feature packed for it’s price. the interior material is just too plastiky to me... Other than that, this looks to be a good car, just do not have the experience yet with Suzuki parts and reliability though...
wala gaano complaints from the owners... as with any well maintained car 😅

Was able to test drive nung gabi na.
Well, first impression is good. Lalo na from the outside, it really looks good. Doesnt look cheap at all.
I guess pwede mo pa coveran ng carbon fiber yun and it will look so so much better.
And yes, the sun roof cover was very thin. Kahit gabi na, aninag mo ang kalawakan. May solution naman, I guess pa double super dark tint mo yung sun roof. Hahaha.
Pinaka downside sa interior for me is yung 10” HU. It feels super cheap. As in Android tablet lang sya, wala nga yatang car settings. Although very responsive naman sa touch. And sana ma upgrade pa ang Android version, pero I doubt it. Upside lang is you can probably root it and install custom stuff. The speakers are below average.
It feels like a sedan, hindi matagtag with 2 passengers. Nvh, cant comment. Pero sa 20-30kph sa parking lot with bricks, it felt quiet naman. The doors were sakto lang when you close it. Doesnt sound very hollow.
Performance naman, it feels slow to react sa pedal and slow to accelerate. Maybe kase 6AT and it’s only 1.6cc. Pero sufficient na sya for city driving. The brakes felt slightly weak. The LED headlights were below average for me. My stage 2 HID retrofit is much much better. Surprsingly, may auto levelling sya. The fogs really help though.
All in all, it’s a great car me thinks. It will sell very well, especially the GLX. Kainis lang walang arm rest. Ughhh. Also the crowd in the test drive was of the older age group. Kala ko mga millenials ang magiging interesado. Hahaha
Main selling point for me is the price obviously, and the features, most importantly yung 6 airbags.
Still forgot to ask ilan ang interval ng PMS and how long is the warranty.
Thanks for sharing sir. I think the susuki event sa moa parking lot is not for test drive. It seems more on promoting on what's inside and outside of their new vitara. We cannot call it a test drive anyway parang pinasakay ka lang habang pinapark yung car...hehehe. [emoji16]

Remains to be seen if magiging issue kapag tanghaling tapat.
May mga work around naman like dark tint nga. Ganda lang malaki sunroof.
Not sure lang if it’s a good time to buy since I think around the corner na lang yung facelift model. Also baka they would bring more color options sa GLX.
Sana nga dalin yung 1.4 BoosterJet petrol e. Yun yung bang for the buck engine on most reviews. Yung 1.6 petrol mostly used for the base variant.
Called sunroof for a reason haha:
