Sadly, dealerships here are getting greedy. They're using the void warranty tactic to make new car owners part with their money. And when you question them regarding the quarterly PMS, they would always reply with "Philippine driving condition" bs. Even when it's stated in the manual that PMS is supposed to be done every 6 months only.

To clarify, i'm talking about Suzuki's way of doing things. Otherwise *warranty* may ~fly away.

And this BS has slowly crept its way to other distributors and car brands. I am not sure if the DTI has looked into this or whether someone has actually challenged these provisions in court. I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think this should be legal.

Suzuki Ertiga - 7 seater MPV

This is my PMS experienced with my Ertiga, and can be used as guide, but can still be improved depending on your relationship with the casa.

1K, 5K, and 10K, PMS labor is free and you can persuade the casa to stretch to 5 months the scheduled PMS especially if it's a low mileage and be sure to call first the casa and ask for the list of what their going to perform, and remove the unnecessary add on's, like engine flushing, engine cleaning, etc.
AC filter and air inlet filter to be replace only if necessary upon actual inspection.
Labor fee can be haggle/reduced corresponding to actual mileage work and not on scheduledPMS
Yung sobrang engine oil hingin ninyo dahil pwedeng gamitin ulit sa next change oil, etc.

BTW East ave is the partner casa of the Ertiga club, and still doing good.

Hi everyone. I have made a reservation for Suzuki Vitara GLX (red) during the MOA test drive event held last Nov.16-19. Back then they guaranteed me that units, regardless of color/variant, will surely be available in December. That is exactly the main reason why I decided to get one -- to avoid the st*pid excise tax.

My sales agent in Sucat is still confident (or just being optimistic about it) that December release will still be met. However, all other dealerships I have been inquiring from keeps on telling me to "better to make a reservation now sir..", "unit you are aiming to get is highly in demand", etc... Nonetheless, whenever I ask when is the official release of the non-turquoise units, they shift their sticks to reverse then index fingers Suzuki Philippines. I even inquired from Suzuki Philippines customer care.. They acknowledged the inquiry but still waiting for them to get back to me with the answer I am looking for.

By any chance, anyone here knows the latest? Thanks.

well it's pinoy mentality. willing victims there are very few who are clamoring for "longer" i.e. proper PMS intervals as stated in the manual

just check out the PMS intervals in india, where conditions are crappy just like here. ertigas have 1 year PMS interval in india. the same ford ecosport that must be serviced every 6 months here in PH have 1yr interval in india

Waiting din ako sa red GLX.

3rd week of December daw. Not sure if next week na yun or 2 weeks from now.

Suzuki Caloocan pala. If you need a SA: Sam

Hassle free so far sa kanya, pati reservation online transfer lang (may pic naman ng OR). We haven't met yet in person haha.

Thanks, TheUninvited! Let's cross our fingers. Holiday break is fast approaching, this may have an impact kasi. Not to mention that I am planning to secure compre insurance on my own as I can get a much better deal than what the bank/dealership is offering.

Missing delivery this 2017 might expose us to the impending excise tax. Though this unit falls under the lower bracket, it's still 30-40k damage to our wallets. Hahaha

Only the usual ones.. 3 years LTO registration, tint (ordinary) - visor only, CTPL, floor matting..

I requested for seat covers or tint-full windshield at least but they can't extend daw. They even retracted the initially advised P10k cash discount. Hahahaha

6.5k OEM series wraparound then +1k K28 for the sunroof.

Might still change for the sunroof since baka akala nung napagtanungan ko maliit lang yung sunroof.

If north area kayo, yung shop nila is tapat lang ng S&R Congressional.
