Eh? 8 months is already generous. And go check the Suzuki PMS thread for actual costs. They don't ask for much as long as you take out the extras.
Other brands ask you to bring it in every 10k or 6 months, whichever comes first. VW is the only local brand I'm aware of that allows yearly intervals.
remove whichever comes first, 10K will always be synonymous to 1 year of use FS. and 5K 6 months of use Regular oil. that has been the standard, read the manual. besides, this is a 1.6L gasoline engine. nothing fancy about this. is this turbo or naturally aspirated ba? even if turbo yan maliit lang turbo nyan for it to be serviced every 8 months.
racket yan 8 months for a Fully Synthetic.
gasoline engine are so simple. lalo na mga small displacements. the problem is you follow too much the guidelines of these car manufacturers. I own two gasoline engine, one V6 and one 2.0L SUVs pareho. I do yearly intervals, and even after a year I check my FS oil, clear na clear pa. nagpapalit na lang ako kasi nga 1 year is my limit talaga no matter what. gasoline engines are clean to be begin with, unlike diesel.
sa gasolinahan yan lang i-reco sayo ng shell/petron yan ganyan schedule 10k/FS/1 year, 5K/Regular Oil/ 5 months. check the manual. andun yan
it's classic case na pag inutusan ka tumalon sa bangin, tumalon ka. yan ang style ng CASA, why because like Jollibee, kelangan mag-survive ang casa dealerships coz its somehow a franchise. besides, nasa manual yan, if they change the rules to benefit them, you can always file a case against them since yun ang nasa technical manual diba. People seem to be too cautious these days, they look lame and follower na lang. know your rights. ganito na ba talaga mga millennials always cautious. kaya pala ang bagal ng traffic ngaun, kasi lahat ingat na ingat mag-drive, tipong light foot tapos average of 40km/hr. Heads Up, sira ang mga cars nyo if you dont push it to its limits. wag nyo masyado baby-hin yan, it's designed to anticipate kahit anong klaseng use, kahit isang hollywood or police car chase pa yan .
kung tuusin nga yan sinasabi mo VW, ang implication nyan eh mas matibay ang VW coz they're confident to offer yearly intervals. tapos yan Suzuki 8 months lang, it shows na mahina ang product nila. and whoever heard of every 8 months, walang ganyan since the time of car service. imbento yan.
Blame the millenials for the traffic? Really? I just don't understand the irony of referring to the manual but not adhering to the guidelines. And besides, di naman sapilitan ang pagpunta sa casa right, it is still up to the owner. And no, it's not the classic sunudsunuran. People buy these cars with their hard earned money that's why they want to benefit from it for a longer time kaya iniingatan nila. We do share insights here so no need to force your practice to others and resort to calling them something else by giving unrelated analogies.

LOL you should learn to separate the wheat from the chaff from OB's postsor rather separate the bigas from the darak
the casa is just like the catholic church. they'll give you an imaginary Original Sin para balik ka ng balik the churchbut the truth is you don't have original sin, and you don't need to change your oil more often than you need to!
it's the same FUD (fear uncertainty doubt) mechanism that both the casa and the church are leveraging against those w/ weak minds
entertainment....

I digress, guys hehe.
Do you know of a promo or offer for the Vitara GLX that is lower than what most dealerships are offering (200k DP + 21++ thousand monthly for 5 years)? I inquired this with Kalookan and Pasig. Thanks![]()
Yun naman pala hehe. Well 2 years pa lang naman, bago pa yan.Wala silang Suzuki. I have an officemate may Ertiga siya, 2 years na never pa daw nagkaproblem. Mas una pa daw nagkaproblem yun Fiesta nila.
Juke vs Vitara, walang sinabi ang specs ng Juke. 2 lang ata airbags ng Juke kahit totl.
it's not generous ... it's marketing ... they tell you 4 months when it's actually 12 months ... then you haggle ... they agree to 6 months ... you haggle some more ... and you get 8 months ... you are very happy with your negotiation skills ... but actually you lose 4 months ...
Compromise ... a result of a complex negotiation where each party thinks he has fooled the other party ...
