This is noted, sir. So what happened to your issues btw? Naayos ba?

    3. rack and pinion (noise is heard on the front right side suspension)
the same problem i encountered with my 2011 suzuki swift. the solution is a simple tightening of suspension bolts. it is underneath the suspension arms. and the main culprit is a loose rack & pinion. since day one i got the car up to my first 10000kms check up hindi nakuha ng casa yong issue ng car.

dont bring it to the casa, walang alam nga tao doon. just dropby at your nearest gas station/servitek with lifter for much easier access to the underpinnings. have your steering column also checked.

as to the rattling calipers, its the brake rotors that causes the noise, its due to the brake pads that the manufacturer used for our car.

hope this helps & solves your problem.

    thanks

I have exactly the same problem.

I hear ilalabas daw ang Swift Hatchback from India, same spec as Dzire to combat the Mirage? Also pati na rin daw yung Swift Sport by the end of the year?

actually hindi nakita ng suzuki caloocan ang problem. i brought the car there twice. i just had my pms there, instead pinagawa ko sa servitek at doon nila nakita yung problem na hindi nagawa ng casa. you mean sira na kaagad ang rack & pinion assembly natin 2011 model pa lang naman siya? im sure hindi naman araw araw lubak ang dinadaan natin?

we drove the car in an even pavement then on pathholes. the problem i encountered doesnt appear on even & smooth surfaces but on jagged, rough & deep pathholes. there a noise appears to be a metal to metal thug.

the technician just tighten the suspension bolts that connects to the flooring & the rack & pinion bolts that holds the steering gear. ask the technician to tighten everything that concerns the steering control of the car. you wont go wrong.

    thanks.

PM garyq - he can retrofit projectors into your Swift. You'll find significant gains over your stock halogen bulbs.

We are currently choosing between the 2014 Mirage GLS CVT, 2013 Dzire A/T and 2013 Swift A/T. I currently own an A/T APV and am turned off by the high cost of ownership and the scarcity of its parts.

We've finally decided on getting the Swift A/T. Since di kami financing, medyo limited ang freebies. We got the ff. for free:
    Insurance
    LTO
    Seat cover
    3M tint
    Window visor
    Backup sensor
    Early warning device

BTW, this is from a friend na sales supervisor ng isa sa mga dealerships ng Suzuki.

    Thanks Pidok.

Looking at the quotation I got, wala rin palang EWD. Ok na rin kasi yung 1.3 Vios E A/T, LTO lang ang free plus the standard Platinum tint, seat cover, matting and P27,000 discount (pang insurance siguro).

Nga pala, covered din kasi pala ng car plan ni misis maintenance for five years kaya nag Swift na kami kahit na may kamahalan maintenance cost nya.
