haha. crappy talaga radio nya w 2 speakers. san mo nakuha unit mo? BTW pinacheck ko na yun engine shudder.Pina andar yun jimny ng 1 hour di naman umulit. advise sakin break in daw muna and gamitin. pero upon reaching my house umulit sya pero mahina lang naman. nangnginig pero steady lang RPM nya parang connectado sa pag cycle ng aircon. around 2seconds lang nginig tapos wala na.

Yung warranty naman eh for that part lang. If something goes wrong tapos sa part na pinalitan mo yung cause, saka lang siya hindi sasagutin ng CASA.

What could go wrong sa pag-palit ng horn & stereo ?

Just change those items. The thing is pretty well built and a new stereo or speakers wont make it fail. Ganyan talaga casa, stle para makabenta ng accessories. Pag sumabog makina mo at sinisi stereo mo, you can take it up with dti. Sa kia ko dati nag fail front suspension pero kahit bago stereo, busina, speakers at alarm eh wala na sila magagawa kundi ayusin ang nasira.

Got my Jimny yesterday. While I'm very happy with the vehicle, am quite unhappy with threats to void the warranty if I install my own alarm, horn, and even additional rear speakers. I can't even buy my own and bring to the dealer for installation. Sa kanila pa ako bibili.

Also very disappointed with the old model Clarion stereo... no USB port, no sd card port, only 2 front speakers... meron cd changer option ang stereo but for sure that addition is not locally available... cruising around with great music pa naman ang balak ko sa car na ito...

I put in a china made tv dvd head unit and im satisfied. 8500, delivered to my doorstep, 300 for jemson to install it (plus the used rear speakers i got from my current vehicle) and i also managed to find the old rear camera from my nissan. Sulit na din. Hehe

Facelift for 2012? hmmmmm... I doubt it.... 2011 unit pa rin ang binigay sa akin this month. Pag na-facelift yan, malamang sasabihin nila "2013 model"...

I averaged 9.6 km/liter city driving on my first tank of gas. No chance yet to run higher than 60kph. Hope to do better on the expressways... patay na pagdating ng pasukan...

Some more info I'm curious about:

- Does this vehicle have a computer box? If so, where is it?
- Does anyone use a K&N Replacement Air Filter 33-2162? Does it help in any way?
- Do you all follow the 23psi front / 26 psi rear tire specs for tire inflation? Higher?
- How long can I expect the stock tires to last? No plans for offroading... at least 2 years?
(CRV kasi ng wife ko mabilis makapudpud ng Bridgestone.)

I have a k&n on the silver unit from the former owner. Feels the same to me when compared with the black jimny.

Yes, i adhere to the posted tire pressure.

No idea on tire life since driving distances vary po.

4inches po. Maliit lang ang lalagyan, then i put a powered sub under the driver's seat. Nabili ko sa raon.

Pati front speakers niya ay 4 inches din po.

I ordered the head unit from Roman Lao of Sulit.com. Just do a search on him po. Yes, total cost at my doorstep na iyan as personally delivered by the seller. Actually, he delivered it to the emergency room. hehe. TV signal is so-so since I did not put an external antenna. But for the areas I go to, the signal is acceptable to me.
