    The Jimny 4wd system is designed for use only on surfaces that allow for adequate wheelspin like mud or sand or dirt. Use it on surfaces with adequate traction and "4wd binding" can occur and with disastrous results.

    Jimny is the only one in it's class as far as I know. It's value will be defined by your purpose. I was in the market for a new car in 2008. The choice is between the Swift and the Jimny. The Swift won because of my obsession for the poor man's mini cooper. I sold my Swift in 2013 and got the Jimny. I am enjoying it so much that I feel a little tinge of remorse because I could have enjoyed it a little earlier :-))).
