hello po mga tsikoteers! newbie po ako. magtatanong lang regarding sa Jimny dyan satin sa Pinas. Currently nasa China ako and I've been eyeing the Jimny for years. Ganito na po ba ang itsura ng top of the line satin? steering wheel controls, included na rin ang 2DIN head unit ? (pictures attached)

What i saw was just the alloy rim, are there anymore differences?

Grabe, some 2 years ago the pricing of the Jimny was sub 800k. Then they raised it to P849k with the touchscreen option, they say to justify the price increase. Now it seems they're importing the base model ones with the new price.

No touchscreen, no airbags wow. This is one overpriced unit. Akala ko ba. Ay JPEPA, at least somehow dapat may incentive naman Ito made in Japan vehicle na Ito .

Only vehicles with a 3L engine or more is exempt from taxes under jpepa. The jimny is a 1.3.

The jimny wiggle thingy is back. Same speed at 80kph. also any advise on where to find a replacement for the aircon compressor? I can only feel the cold when the sun is out.

Sir, is your jimny stock? Im seriously considering getting one and this concerns me since it seems to be a very common issue...

Yes, all stock though I recently replaced 4 tires but of same specs. Has 70k mileage and only the wiggle and the aircon are my complaints.

get a steering damper installed in front to eliminate the wiggle. this will be the remedy if you had any suspension lift or tire size upgrades, if none, i suggest you have your tires balanced and wheel and steering aligned.

Check out EEBAire in Timog Avenue. Bought a compressor there, decently priced. Had it installed somewhere else though because they were charging a lot higher for the Jimny.

Gamit kong car cover ngayon ay yung freebie sa dating Hyundai i10 ng misis ko, kaSya naman, may exposed lang konti sa side sa ilalim pero front and rear bumpers pasok. Otter yata yung nakasulat sa car cover....

Since I bought my Jimny last Feb I have been using Petron XCS 95octane gas. Napansin nag start in April meron parang "katok" sound, parang stressed yung engine pag pa akyat ng 2k rpm. Then I backread here and meron din naka encounter ng ganun dito. So I changed this week sa Blaze 100 octane and viola! nawala na yung katok!

Then I mentioned this to my officemate and sila din pala been using XCS and also encountered the "katok" (more on rattling sound) sound sa engine (one vios and one avanza), and one officemate also changed to Blaze start of May and nawala din talaga yung "katok."

I mentioned this this morning to the Petron manager Commonwealth branch so he could relay to their head officemate.

Meanwhile, enjoying again the ride with Blaze 100octane :-).
