yup, lahat ng oto ganun. yung nut na ang magtutulak pag higpit mo para mag lock sa spline yung streering wheel. usually mga 2 slaps on each side tangal na yun.

just change the brake proportioning valve in my vitara. hopefully this solves the brake fading when i make u-turns(weird cause it only happens on u turns) and it also caused my brake fluid to turn rust in color even for just 20 kms run, we found that the lip where the rubber boot sits is chipped by bout .5 inches, so maybe water sips in thru it. also change 1 front brake piston.

would it be possible to just do a simple body lift like say 3" instead of the usual suspension lift pa which is more expensive. Then after the lift maybe a 30" AT tires. I just want to give the vit a stance na mataas and wade through floods.

Maybe masters out there can tell the pros and cons of body and suspensions lift. thanks!

kung body lift the hoses and tubes of the aircon kelangan palitan kasi sakto lang sukat ng mga yun. alam ko yung brake line meron ilan papalitan din daw kasi maigsi din.

tapos yung kambyo lulubog kasi maiiwan yung tranny attached to the chassis.

your engine is still the same height since the chassis was left in it original height so going thru floods will still be the same.

Medyo marami pala cons pag body lift.. ito yata pinaka murang method pero dami dapat consider..
Question po sa gulong, may significant change ba sa gas consumption if mag change from 195 70 15 to 215 70 15 or 225 70 15. Currently am using 195 and I am getting 8 to 9km per lit on city with a very light foot on the pedal manual tranny po.

Gud Day, mga bosing, kakamember ko lng po dito sa Tsikot at npaka informative ng mga replies, kaya po gusto ko po sna makahingi advice mula sa mga experts dito kung saan po ba pwede mag pa check ng VITARA. Taga novaliches QC po ako. Ung vitara po sa ermats ko po yun, pero binigay nya sa akin. ako n lng daw po mag paayos. Yung exterior nya oks nman po, kaso ung mga functionalities nya, pkiramdam ko may mga problem na.

Matic transmission po siya. Nung minamaneho ko po eto ung mga nkita/ naramdaman kong problems.
1. Ung aircon po npakainit ng singaw. Lalu n last time i drive it papunta boni, npakainit tlga, muntik na ata ko ma heat stroke. Tpos kapag nka open ung aircon, pakiramdam ko may mali sa hatak ng mkina.
2. Ung speedometer po nya at yung fuel indicator di po gumgana. Yung speed ko natatntya ko pa po eh, pero yung gas ko di ako cgurado.
3. Yung hazard button nya ayaw gumana. I have to hold it para lng gumana siya which is very inconvenient lalu n sa pag papark.

hanapin mo yug thread ni mang mario dito sa tsikot, nasa likod sya SM city north. since Escudo(subic unti) converted, medyo madaming di maganda ang convert nyan. pwedeng di gumagana yung aux fan sa harap, or may mali sa kabit ng hoses ng freon, maganda naman feed back ni mang mario dito sa tsikot, subukan mo na lang

baka di nakabit ng maayos yung wiring harness ng cluster panel, yung speedometer yung cable nyan baka di umabot kaya di na pinagana. nung nag convert

mahirap humanap ng surplus nyan, baka may brand new sa banawe kay links or fonte, or sa araneta kay olympia.

good deal yan not being bias but with our road and weather condition nowadays the vitara will give u peace of mind.. i have a sedan and a vitara pero mas type ko talga dalhin ang vitara rugged and tough =)

ok sir, i think mas ok naman FC nang MT sa AT, lam ko it's between 8-9 km/l city driving, and di naman daily driven yung auto, pero just this year dami sira daan samen, and ang tagal bago gawin, lagi bugbog underchassis nang EK ko, balak ko sana talaga pajero 2 door, but because of conversion issues, mas makakatipid ako sa vitara. and Baka diko agad magamit pajero dahil sa mga repairs..

my A/T vitara gets around 6.5kms/L city driving on XCS. lately parang iba timpla ng xcs, mahina na hatak so i'm using total protec, mukhang mas ok, stronger engine response, first full tank of pure protec sukat ko ulit. sa highway last time i went to alabang i got 9.3kms/L on XCS medyo may hataw para minsan ma ensayo nama makina hehehe...

sa akin yung konting lakas sa gas bawi naman sa tibay ng under chassis ng vitara.
