Around 6-7 km/L on average with Metro Manila traffic. If your route includes a lot of open roads with minimal stop-go traffic, you can do 8 km/L. On the highway, depending on how fast you're going, it will be around 10-12 km/L.

Up for the HU firmware update. Sobrang bagal ng response from steering controls at bug sa other media players like spotify, youtube. Hindi nag uupdate yun title and di rin na ddetect yun playlist/album.

Thinking of replacing the stock HU on the forester IP with an Android unit. Good decision ba?

Yan din balak ko gawin sa IP namin, but after warranty na.

In the meantime, I attached an android 7" tablet below the AC controls to enjoy features like OBD2 (Torque Pro) & various gps apps, and with 3G connectivity, traffic is now less a nightmare.

Will it void the warranty when you change the hu? How about if you just pay them and let them do the hu upgrade?

Looking at 2nd hand Foresters I see prices ranging from 550k for 2011 to 750 for 2012. May pinagkaiba ba yun 2012 sa 2011 models? The newer the better ba?

Why not use a portion of that amount as DP for a brand new Forester instead?

You're talking about 750k out here. Add a few more and you could buy a brand new Honda City E CVT.

If you want a Forester, the base 2.0i-L costs around 1.4M. Financing options vary but some offer DP of less than 200k with monthly payments of 25k. That 750k would go a long way.

    1. find out which one has lesse mileage. when was the last cvt fluid change done?
    2. lower arm bushings might need replacing.. as well the shocks

    accident or flood unit?

two reason above to hagge for lower. costs around 20-30k-ish

Older 2011 had 10k km more in the odometer than the 2012 so medyo expected na din. Parang di pa yata napalitan yun transmission fluid nila. Di naman flood or accident unit. Mga benta lang para pangdagdag sa bago.

Worth it pa ba yun mga 5+ yrs old na Forester?

yan pala yun old gen with the 4sp automatic...

you have to check for leaks. engine knock. ac output. many things to check.. i wouldn't get that 750k choice though... too expensive..
