SUBARU FORESTER - Everything You Need to Know | Up to Speed - YouTube
Hey guys, im planning to buy a second hand 2010 ft. Is it worth buying considering the age of the car? Im going to use it as a sub for my daily (hyundai accent crdi). I know its a huge difference considering their FC. Please enlighten me. You can also share your FC if you still own a 2010 model. Oh btw, the car is selling for 385k
Thank you!
Sirs, need your help po.
Nirefill ko kasi ng tap water yung coolant kasi pawala na. Hindi ko alam bakit hindi nirefill last pms ko 2 mos ago.
Should I drain it po or wait until my next pms? 7mos pa lang po si Fozzie.
Salamat po..

You'll be fine. Just don't use tap next time. Best to keep a bottle of OE coolant or distilled water ( Wilkins or Absolute, not the vodka[emoji4]) for top up.
I would never let the dealership top coolant or windshield fluid up....DIY it. I've seen dealerships add tap countless times.[emoji20]

Haha.. noted on the Absolut Vodka Sir Travajante..[emoji1]
Thanks po sa reply sir.. worried lang talaga ako lalo na't first time to own.. I read na it will cause rust and corrosion.
I am thinking pa naman of going to MI on monday for a coolant flush. [emoji28]

Be careful, use ONLY Subaru Long Life Coolant ... There are alternatives but you have to be well informed about different types of coolants and their composition ... Incompatible coolant type MIGHT damage some metals in the engine ...
is there any way na mapapalit ang suspension ng forester with a suspension ng mga fortuner, montero type?
The Forester is built on a unibody frame like a car unlike those PPVs which are built on a ladder frame like a pickup. The suspension setup is different between them.
You can stiffen or raise the suspension of a Forester with the proper use of springs and shocks or coilovers. Besides, why would you make the Forester ride like a PPV? One of the great advantages of CUVs is how it drives compared to pickup-platform vehicles and how its suspension is tuned makes that difference.
The Forester has good ground clearance, as good as most PPVs. If you want to make the Forester be much better off-road, then you can upgrade the shocks and springs, lift the body a bit, and change to off-road tires.
It will still handle better on twists and turns compared to those ladder frame vehicles.
