No question on the handling capabilities of the BRZ as it is lighter and has better aero package. In terms of brute straight-line acceleration, the FXT can outsprint the BRZ mainly from its turbo engine. The BRZ and FXT share a similar engine base (FA20) but the FXT is turbocharged. The BRZ would have been a much better drive if it has the engine of the FXT.

Even if you fit 5 250 lb persons and 300 kgs of cargo in the FXT AND have the Montero Sport just with 1 driver and no cargo; the FXT will still have better Power/Weight Ratio.

Which just means the MS is a heavy ass vehicle.

SpinCycle might be exaggerating but as I have said, nobody will ever try doing that with even a full size SUV, much less for a smaller CUV. Can you imagine putting 5 people the size of Charles Barkley into a Forester or CRV? An Expedition or Tahoe or LC200 will even be small to sit 5 really big people.

In normal use, most PPVs are just not that quick. A decently-powered subcompact will even outsprint the usual PPV.

Ah it might even be worse...the MS is missing the driver. Either way, that's a lot of Steel in the MS, i would guess.

Because even output is misleading. A Fiesta Ecoboost with 120 hp will out-accelerate an Everest 3.2 with 200 hp.

0-100 for the Fiesta is 9 sec. 12 sec for the Everest.

And in the end, most people don't care.

If that's the case, performance na per car.

Based on owner's experience. Pero even that is subjective na rin given the number of different cars we have driven over the years, we can't help but compare.

Change Oil and Filter
Check Air Filter
Check Cabin Filter
Rotate tires

No need for engine flush kung lagi mo naman ginagamit yung Fozzie mo.

How about fully loaded with back pack each person cargo? Also travelling, we might say 2%-10% uphill grade? Don't know if this is important, but i love to rev uphill.

sakin lang di naman ako expert sa driving pero na try ko kasi sa MOA elevated parking yung inner ramp na matarik parang balewala lang sa Forester NA, with 2 heavygats na passengers.... slices thru the up ramp like butter!

My last PMS was 20K. FXT. Just the usual change oil and filter. P6K+. Manila Bay.

I’ve had good experiences with MI BGC. Ok din daw sa Pasig and Manila Bay.
