Puwede na mag group-buy para sa mga loyal Forester owners!!!

Makatingin nga dyan sa Lazada para makatipid din. I use the same oil for both my Fiesta and FXT. I get it at P400 per liter.

    Hi everyone.

I've been following this thread but never posted.

I have a question about the CVT models of the Forester. When my car turned 2 years old, MI BGC changed my CVT fluid. As per the manual/service schedule, it's either 2 years or 40k km, whichever comes first. I did my first CVT change with only 30k km back in 2015.

I called MI Manila Bay and asked for the specs of the CVT fluid thinking I can just buy and bring my own for when I do my 80km/4 year PMS. However, the service advisor said I don't need to change the CVT fluid since I've only racked 57k km on my car. He said there is a memo that the CVT fluid is to be changed only at 80k km, whatever the age of the car is.

Can anyone confirm/vouch for this? I asked him to send me the memo they received on this. I'm not complaining as this will save a lot of money in terms of the CVT fluid, but my concern is if they do base it on the actual mileage, it might damage the transmission in the long run and be more costly to replace/repair.

    TIA.

Can anyone give the mobile (preferably Globe) contact number(s) of the Subaru dealer where you have your vehicle serviced? Need to inquire on driver's side tail light assembly price ... Thank you ...

I was also informed by the BGC SAs last July that the CVT fluid change will follow the actual mileage of the vehicle and not every 2 years. So, they will only advise you to change the CVT fluid once every 40k km.

Does anyone know where can I find a side-by-side comparison of the 2.0i-L and 2.0i-P Forester models? Been browsing thru their site and the brochure just makes mo more confused.

They are practically the same vehicle. The only differences are the wheels (17" vs 18"), sunroof, and leather seats.

The 2.0i-P shares the same interiors, seats, sunroof, and wheels as the Forester XT. I am not sure though if the 2.0i-P has the Harman Kardon audio system of the XT.

Regular audio system, push button start (compared to iL) and no turbo for iP

If you can afford it, go for it or forever regret your decision of choosing the iL when you see an iP on the road.

At any rate, both are fun to drive.

Medyo di nga sulit ang price diff between the iL and the iP, considering the iL is being offered with an 80k discount these days.

    iP has the ff:
    18in wheel
    Sunroof
    Leather seats
    Power seats
    Power tail gate
    Push start

Same safety features with iL. If you have the budget and need the additional features go for iP. I went for the iL since i'm more concerned on the safety features.
