wade or james for MVP? kaya lang baka back to back MVP si nash, kasi he's even more valuable this season because of amare's absence...and of course there's kobe.

I'm picking Steve Nash, he is the motor that keeps the Suns running, Lebron a close 2nd, then D-Wade. Kobe will get votes but I don't think he'll win it. The Nets are rolling..

How pathetic are the Trailblazers? They can't even break 60 against the worst defense in the NBA.

i had earlier made arguments for why Wade should be mvp, but i have to change my vote to Kobe.

Wade is still the mvp of his team, but the team is a powerhouse. the Lakers are a one-man team that's in the playoffs (right now at least) by the sheer will and talent of that one man. the legendary Phil Jackson probably did his poorest coaching job this year (surpassing the year that his four HOF'ers choked away the championship), Kobe's so-called "Scottie Pippen" is a good fantasy player but a total non-factor in key game situations, and the rest of the Lakers don't even belong on an NBA roster.

but somehow they're probably going to make the playoffs. if they beat Dallas or Phoenix, or even just give them a hard time in the first round, #8 should be a lock for this award.

speaking of awards, Chris Paul should be the first unanimous ROY in the history of the league. if even one person doesn't vote for him, then that would be a travesty - also, that person should be stripped of his voting rights and forced to massage Yao's big toe after every game...

i agree with M54 about Kobe getting the MVP award...

he is in almost in the same position as KG but at least the LAL is above the .500 mark

just came home from the ORL - MIA game. total ass-kicking by the visiting team. D-Wade and Shaq really need some help or i don't think they'll even win their 1st round matchup

oh, one more thing - DWIGHT HOWARD IS A STUD. he was messing around during warmups...doing 360 dunks while almost kissing the rim, even swishing 3-pointers....this guy is the real deal and the league needs to watch out next season. his newly-developed post moves remind me of Jermaine O'Neal, but his explosiveness is more like Amare. once he starts polishing that jump shot more, look out

Commish, any insight on Jameer Nelson. Only saw him on a couple of televised games this season, his game winning shot against Detroit over T. Prince was impressive despite a poor overall game (due in part to foul trouble).

Heres the deal with D. Howard, coach Brian Hill wants him to concentrate on the low blocks, Howard wants to expand his game to include some jumpers and more high post offense. I believe that Dwight should expand his game to the midrange game which will open up the lowpost for him.

Jameer is awesome. he scored 26 (i think) and outplayed both Wade and Payton. runs the team like a 10-year veteran and steps up when the going gets tough. Brian Hill relies on him a lot...and actually Miami made both its runs with him on the bench. pagpasok niya...bam! he made key jumpshots or assists and the lead was back up to 15+

    jameer nelson for president! :D

jameer came thru big time today for Orlando and my fantasy teams.

I think Orlando should trade either Dooling or Arroyo, they dribble too much specially Dooling, I don't think he's a natural point. They should trade for a pass first backup PG next season - a Tyrone Lue, or Kevin Olie type PG.

MVP - Player that makes the whole team better all by himself - Kobe doesn't fit the bill one bit hehe.

Well Kobe IS the Lakers, he is willing them to the post season all by himself (4 games remaining), well we call all bash him about not making his teamates better but who are his teamates? Smush Parker? Kwame Brown? Devean George? Sasha Vujacic? Brian Cook? sounds like a CBA team to me. Kwame Brown can't catch the ball under the hoop, Devean George is an energy guy but an outside shot but not much else, Vujacic is still raw, same with Brian Cook, Lamar Odom doesn't mesh with Kobe and is too passive at times.
