So much for Ron Artest's prediction...
Still go Kings - Bibby, Wells, and Artest helped propel my ebnc team to fantasy promiseland.
bai....pano ba yan....

hmm...i guess if anyone's earned the right to win or lose a playoff games by his instincts and decision-making, it's Steve Nash.
can't argue with the result either...
I think the Lakers have enough moxie to pull off at least 2 wins. Its just a matter of exploiting match-ups which would favor them.
A playoff match-up I find intriguing is the one of LAC-Denver. Parang it'll go the distance of 7 games. Another is that of the Indiana-New Jersey match-up. Both teams are well-coached and they have the tools to win the series. It could go either way in my opinion.

Interesting note - the Clippers are the 6th seed but have home court advantage against the Nuggest because of a better overall record, George Karl was upset that the Clips were lossing games at the end of the season to maintain their seeding, the Grizzlies on the other hand got "penalized" for being the higher seed, drawing the long, athletic and deep Dallas Mavs.
The Lakers can pull of an upset against the smallish Suns... despite "only" 22 pts from Kobe, the Lakers stayed close, their starting 5 all scored in double figures, whether its by design its anybodys guess but it certainly surprised Phoenix.
Keys to stopping the Suns:
1. SLOW the game to a crawl
2. Don't let Nash dictate the tempo
3. Let Diaw et al try to win the game
4. Unleash No. 8
5. Exploit their lack of size in the middle or pound the paint
6. They can't run if they can't rebound or get the ball
i think Ginobili should have been suspended along with Artest. Artest's forearm shiver to Ginobili's head (with matching oscar performance by the argentine flopper) was in retaliation probably for an unprovoked elbow to the throat in the opening minutes.
he was the only one punished because of his reputation, and for some reason the league is too stupid (or turns a blind eye) towards the crap that Ginobili and the Spurs do - the flopping, flying elbows and knees, deliberately falling into people to make them fall and injure them....i guarantee kung sa inter-barangay naglalaro itong mga to gabi-gabi may suntukan :hihihi:
wala kasing enforcer ang Queens este Kingsaside from Artest, as a result Ron Ron had to stand up for himself, too much finesse not enough muscle. Pag ginawa ni Manu yan kay MJ, he'll be decked by Rodman or one of the Bulls enforcers.
yup kaso halata naman kasi si RONRON, imho one of the dirtiest player all time was John Stockton pero pa simple lang ang mga tiradas...
I agree...Originally Posted by ILuvDetailing
Brown is also starting to make his mark... though Mihm would have been a great addition as another offensive threat.
I still think that Kobe will average around 45-50ppg before this series is over![]()
Kobe "Common Phil, lemme go one on five, let me teach that punk Raja a lesson..."
Agree ako dito. Artest is certainly heir to Rodman's notoriety. So refs give him a relatively short leash when it comes to physical play. Too bad. I think he can give a lot of Spurs players fits with his defense.Originally Posted by M54 Powered
Aww, please dont compare Rodman to Artest, the former is a bball legend hehe.
