i think the obvious loser among teams who were involved with these recent trades is the Atlanta Hawks. Imaging trading walker for Payton, Gugliotta and Stewart then eventually waiving Payton. Based on what I read Boston and Atlanta have some kind of agreement on this that they will buy out Payton's contract and he'll be re-signed by Boston. It's like giving away players for free.

this is fascinating...the play-by-play guys on tv were just saying that the miami heat have the first three picks in the 1992 nba draft...and they drafted none of them!

    #1: shaquille o'neal - orlando magic
#2: alonzo mourning - charlotte (now new orleans) hornets
#3: christian laettner - minnesota timberwolves

imagine if those three were on the heat in their prime!

    may balita...

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss said Phil Jackson is a candidate for the Lakers' job and he believes the ex-coach and Kobe Bryant could get along even after Jackson described Bryant as "uncoachable" in his recent tell-all book.
"I think Kobe would welcome back Phil," Buss told the Los Angeles Daily News on Friday.

"Kobe's main desire is to win a championship, to play basketball and win. And he knows his chances with Phil are increased substantially
