    spree worth $10 million a year??! maybe staring at his stupid chrome spinning rims has made him dizzy...

    lifelong lakers fan here, but realistically, they are no better than a 7 or 8 seed unless their offensive chemistry suddenly clicks like crazy (think Stevie Nash-run Mavericks crazy)...and even then they're out in round 1 or 2.

    i say the spurs come out of the west (with the t-wolves a distant second), and they will face the pistons or pacers. sorry, but my home team (miami) has absolutely no one after Wade and Shaq. as the '02 Lakers proved, Shaq + another superstar + 0 won't deliver (and Wade isn't as good as Kobe yet!)

    Not a good start for Yao. Dyess didn't get many minutes.

    Look at the Lakers-Nuggets game...Mihm with 22 points, 9 rebounds after 3 quarters. Fluke or breakout season?

    mcdyess was ejected for arguing with the ref and kicking the ball.

    chris mihm stat is mind boggling pero what do you expect from rudy T who favors big men to start early
