dito pala napunta yung thread ko....

anyway, i watched that Lakers - Rockets game from start to finish. i have to say it was one of the worst playoff games i've ever seen. terrible shooting, too much grabbing and holding and shoving - reminded me of the old Pistons 'bad boys' days.

the refs weren't calling anything either - but at least they were consistent on both sides.

M54, sorry but i had to merge the threads to keep things neat

BTTT, Anyways, a win is a win right? The Lakers seem to lack the killer instinct last night. True, they could overpower Houston any time they choose, but Houston showed it had teeth of its own.

    it's cool pare...i totally understand

one of the sportswriters (SI i think) had a good comment - he said the Rockets missed out on their best opportunity to steal one and send the Lakers into disarray, because it's hard to believe the Lakers playing any worse than they did on saturday

the Rockets defense is as tough as nails - i guess you can't expect any less from Jeff van Gundy

in other news....i watched Heat-Hornets game 1 last nite - one of the best playoff games i've attended!! the crowd was rocking, they gave us black Heat t-shirts to wear so the entire arena was a sea of black. i was in section 113 and had a good floor level view of Dwyane Wade's amazing game winner

i knew Wade was going to be good but not that good - and a clutch player to boot! and who ever thought Jeff's unheralded brother would be such a great coach? i still think the Coach of the Year winner should be Jerry Sloan for almost getting to the playoffs with a bunch of CBA-level players...but Stan van Gundy (and Hubie Brown) merit serious consideration as well

watching 4Q grizzlies - spurs right now.

i won't spoil the ending for anyone watching on delay, but if the spurs continue playing like they are now, everyone might as well go home now and give them the trophy :waah:
