New coronavirus found in Japan evacuees who initially tested negative - CNA
One of the two, a man in his 50s who returned from the Chinese city of Wuhan on the first Japanese evacuation flight on Jan 29, previously twice tested negative for the virus.
However, a third test 12 days later found the man - who has been isolated in his hotel room since his return - was infected.
The second evacuee, a Japanese man in his 40s, returned from Wuhan on Jan 30 and initially tested negative for the virus, but was diagnosed after a second test on Monday.
Why change the name to Covid-19?
It started in Wuhan, China so it should be the Wuhan Corona Virus or Wuhan Virus.
This is the reality and accurate. The world should know where it started even from the name itself.
So, should we now change the Spanish Flu to some other name?

People afraid of stepping on CPC's feelings.
Have a feeling this probably won't be the last pandemic causing virus from that country.
China always seems to get a free pass with those disease names. First SARS in 2002 -- virus name is never attached to China. Now this 2020 Wuhan disease -- virus name shall not be attached to Wuhan, China.
In the meantime, 2013 EBOLA is forever attached to the Ebola River of the Congo, while 2012 MERS is forever attached to the Middle East.
Coincidence? Twice already? How lucky of the CCP!

Coronavirus Live Updates: The Illness Now Has a Name: COVID-19 - The New York Times
The World Health Organization on Tuesday proposed an official name for the illness caused by the new coronavirus: COVID-19. The acronym stands for coronavirus disease 2019, as the illness was first detected toward the end of last year.
The director general of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, noted that the new name makes no reference to any of the people, places or animals associated with the coronavirus. The goal was to avoid stigma.
Under international guidelines, the W.H.O. “had to find a name that did not refer to a geographical location, an animal, an individual or group of people, and which is also pronounceable and related to the disease,”

True. Online orders in which the supplier is situated in mainland China will be considerably delayed.
This is even more true if the order was made during or after the Chinese New Year.
Shopee and Lazada are hit hard, for sure. Aliexpress will probably be hit hardest among online e-commerce sites.

Don't care what WHO calls it.
To me it is the Wuhan China Virus.
And will remain the Wuhan China virus
