No need to hinder int'l travel or trade over coronavirus: Chinese envoy to S. Korea - YouTube
umaapela na mga chinese envoys na alisin mga travel bans. gusto pa talaga mag-damay.
I was also wondering about that for while sir. Why this virus was not named the "WUHAN virus". Even SARS was not named the "Yunnan Virus" or the "Guangdong Virus", despite also originating from those provinces of China. But MERS was quick to be associated with and named for the region it first came from, specifically Saudi Arabia, the Middle East.
My dirty brain told me probably because China CCP probably already pre-emptively pressured WHO or whoever was assigned to naming it, bullying (what China is good at), them that it will destroy China's image if they attached any part of China to the new virus' name, and the WHO, or whoever, will feel the consequences if they so name and associate the virus with China.Of course, China always gets its way in the end, and thus this is why this new virus' name is not and never will be associated with China.
Even with the symptoms, the bug still doesn't show up. Kailangan more than one test, how many we don't know. which is even more frightening.
The Chinese doctor who tried to warn others about coronavirus - BBC News
4 test bago tumama.Dr Li says he was tested several times for coronavirus, all of them came back negative.
On 30 January he posted again: "Today nucleic acid testing came back with a positive result, the dust has settled, finally diagnosed."
He punctuated the short post with an emoji of a dog with its eyes rolled back, tongue hanging out.

Chinese group rejects cremation of compatriot who died from nCoV in PH – Duque | Inquirer News
bigay mo kay PDuts mahal niya mga ChineseAsked about what he thinks could be the reason for the group to take back its earlier promise, Duque cited the group’s “own mindset.”
“They have their own mindset. That’s the problem with them. Sabi ko nga pambihira naman (I said that’s incredible), you are fellow Chinese. Dapat ipakita ninyo na susuportahan ninyo (You should show your support),” he said.

The more that the world must isolate China and it's people. Pag hinde pa na contain ito soon. Lahat ng mainlanders living in other countries I-deport na pabalik ng china whether infected or not. Persona non grata, undesirable aliens. [emoji630][emoji40]

forget holy week travel plans this thing's gone global

by March or April, having travel plans spoiled will be the least of our concerns
As far as I recall, if the death was due to a dangerous communicable disease:
-dapat within 12 hours after death the remains shall be buried/cremated;
-bawal burol and limited to adult family members ang allowed at the funeral;
-if there’s a casket, sealed ito and airtight.
I don’t remember the rest… silipin ko yung regulations if I have time.

As in a previous post, I don’t know if Dr. Duque was misquoted (again?)… but how can he be so sure?“Nevertheless, Duque assured that once a patient who tested positive for the 2019-nCoV has died, that body also ceases as a carrier of the virus”
If he really said that, I disagree, or at least, prefer to err on the side of caution.
Currently, there’s limited information we have on this illness. How can he make such a sweeping statement like that?

Addendum, belatedly watched the video... he did say it nga, but differently. There were supposed "experts" behind him "who are one in saying that he will no longer be infectious..." I wonder sino naman kaya yung mga yun.
