thing about ebola it kills so quick it can't spread far and wide geographically (it runs out of hosts )

this novel virus has an asymptomatic phase that allows infected people to travel all over the world

then get sick 10 to 14 days later

Have you guys seen the leaked? Tracker of tencent?

They estimate the infected to be around 150k+, under observation around 80k, cured of less than 300, and deaths of 24k.

If true, mortaility rate would be around 15%

    Yikes!

nababadtrip tayo dahil naging inconvenient ang galaw natin (like kailangan mag mask, napostpone mga lakad or trips etc)

pero as this virus keeps spreading, the inconvenience is the last thing we're gonna worry about

baka life or death na ang problemahin natin

    sana hindi

Just got word that Macau will close ALL CASINOS for 2 weeks.

This is a very bold decision by their government considering this unprecedented move will basically shut their economy for half a month.

Government can't even begin to properly dispose of the remains of the one and only infected corpse, so what can we expect when this all blows up? More incompetence please --- oops.

Cremation of Chinese coronavirus fatality deferred, funeral parlor backs out - Duque | Inquirer News

"“Hindi pa. Naka-body bag, sealed (Not yet. It is inside a body bag, sealed),” Duque said Thursday in an interview on dzMM when asked if the Chinese national was already cremated.

“Isa pa ito sa nagiging problema namin dahil yung mga umoo, bandang huli, umaatras,” Duque lamented."

"“Sabi ko, maghanap kayo (ng funeral parlor) dahil lampas lampas na tayo doon sa nakatakdang panahon to cremate."

as i mentioned earlier, treating the infected is a big thing, disposing the dead is another issue to tackle. when there was ebola outbreak in the country where i am now 5yrs ago, main issue yan because walang mga facilities para sa proper disposal. and yung bangkay ay nakakahawa pa rin. any developing countries like ours that are not prepared or well equipped will definitely struggle and suffer.
