Barangay Luz is an urban poor village in uptown Cebu City where houses are built close to each other. It is located close to the city’s financial hub. It has been put on a lockdown on April 12 after three residents tested positive of COVID-19. The number of afflicted Zapatera residents ballooned to 135 after 82 more residents tested positive for COVID-19 as of 3 p.m. on Friday. The number was about 85 percent of the total 161 cases in Cebu City.

Barangay Luz has a population of about 23,000. Some of its residents live in boarding houses and work at the nearby Cebu Business Park and Cebu I.T. Park.

A lot of researches going on, lots of preliminary results. The keyword is preliminary. Then there is still the ultimate test, the peer-review. Pretty sure a lot of scientists have sent their results for review but no one has the time to do that now.

the logic of the gloves, is that they protect one's hands. and only one's hands.
if that will prevent the user from touching one's face, well and good.

Ang critical areas on the face are the mouth, nose & eyes. The mouth & nose are covered by the mask. The eyes, on the other hand, are exposed to rubbing, scratching & droplet exposure. The skin of the face is impervious to viral penetration. Just use common sense & a conscious effort.

several pages ago i said SARSCOV2 virus is pretty much the perfect virus when it comes to global conquest (highly contagious, long incubation period, doesn't kill all its hosts) and mutations may result in a weaker virus

researchers actually found a weaker version -- it has weaker binding capability




SARSCOV2 has very strong affinity to human cells with ACE2 receptor (same as SAR-classic but stronger)
