OT: nagregalo ako sa bridal shower ang theme kasi something naughty (no time na ako bumili ng toy nun dahil busy ako.. That was my first time to attend din na meron gigolo sa bridal shower.. From what I understand if you're healthy i.e. no underlying health conditions, mild symptoms lang aabutin mo. Like one woman who recovered crom rhe virus said, dont panic.

Spain's coronavirus tally jumps to 4,290 cases, 120 dead - Reuters

The Spanish health ministry said the number of coronavirus cases in the country jumped to 4,209 on Friday from Thursday’s 3,004 e as the disease spread mostly in Madrid, the Basque Country and La Rioja regions.

The death toll from the coronavirus epidemic in the country has increased to 120 from 84 the previous day.

Health authorities in the Madrid region said the number of cases rose to 2,078 on Friday.

There is indeed loopholes all along this implementation of lockdown since it is very difficult to test a person if he is infected.

However we could have at least taken the approach of the successful countries that contained the virus.

For me the government really let us down. From the top they always projected a sense of false hope and the DOH never really did their job to at least prepared for the worst to come. Petiks eh. We had a headstart na sana and a model in Taiwan and Japan. Sadly I didn't see how the government even tried to made plans based on their actions. Biruin mo almost 3 hours delayed ang presscon yun pala general info din lang. Wala parameters. Parang gumawa ng batas na walang IRR. Wala din ipin yun eh.

Re backlash, that is a given, however, they could have instead made massive information campaign on the need to do this things para maliwanag sa mga tao. Oo hindi lahat maniniwa at makikinig pero for everyone who does accept it, that is one less problem to consider. In the long run that might help instead of spreading "sampal" moves. Fighting the panic with correct information and the reason for doing such things as must be done will still mitigate the situation.

DOH announces 12 new COVID-19 cases; PH total jumps to 64 | ABS-CBN News

Of the new cases, 8 are male and 4 are female. The youngest is 27 years old and the oldest is 70 years old.

They are confined in the following hospitals: The Medical City, Ortigas Hospital and Health Care Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, St. Luke’s medical Center – Global City, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Ortigas Hospital and health Care Center, Marikina Valley Medical Center, Bataan St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center.

One patient is from Mandaluyong, another from Pasig, two from Makati, one from Manila and one from Rizal. The rest are still for validation.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro tested positive Friday for coronavirus according to local reports.

One of the major newspapers in Rio de Janeiro reported the news. President Donald Trump dined with Bolsonaro at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night and shook hands with his fellow world leader.

Bolsonaro was checked for the disease after his aide Fabio Wajngarten tested positive for it.

On Thursday, Trump brushed aside concerns about the encounter - the latest in a series of brushes the president has had with the highly-contagious disease.

Both Bolsonaro and Wajngarten, his press secretary, were at the Winter White House Saturday night.
