Thailand on Monday rescinded a policy announced at the weekend requiring visitors to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, its health minister said, citing sufficient immunisation levels in China and globally.

Off the top of my head, the movies 2012 and gravity were the more obvious cinematic tools of recent times that were used by Beijing because the common theme was w/o china, the protagonists (and even the world in the case of the former) would be dead.

But major Hollywood studios are now dominated by Chinese money so that won't likely happen anytime soon. Most probably the opposite will happen nga because Beijing wants to sanitize their image especially after the Wuhan experience and the continuing west pH sea incursions plus their 9 dash line policy.

unfortunately that's 60 + years of continuous bombardment of soft power projection can do. A certain level of "positive" American and western image has already been implanted in the world's psyche. Halos na -erase na nga sa history atrocities nila As a colonial power/s.

Point is, propaganda is all around us especially in the digital age. Our gov't is active users of it, our local communist faction/s are into it, Russia is using it, Ukraine is engaged in it(quite successfully pa nga), even the Taliban has been very aggressive in utilizing this tool. Nasa sa atin na Lang at sa paghihimay natin kung maniniwala tayo o Hindi.
