My friends father passed away due to covid19 resulting in a much worse Pneumonia. Fully vaxxed na sana kaso may edad na din tapos may unting paralysis due to stroke kaya medyo mahina na. He's in a much better place na din imho.

Even before the pandemic, the elderly is already at a higher risk of death when it comes to pneumonia. Kaya yung nanay ko na 70s na, pinatuturukan namin ng pneumonia vax.

With COVID19, mejo tumaas pa lalo ang risk due to contagiousness and novelty of the disease.

More Moderna, Pfizer vaccine doses arrive in Philippines | Philstar.com

The Philippines has received more doses of Moderna and Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccines which formed part of the government's procured supply as well as of donations from the COVAX Facility.

A China Airlines plane landed at the NAIA Terminal 1 in Parañaque on Tuesday morning carrying the 1.3 million procured Moderna doses.

A Hong Kong Airlines plane, meanwhile, arrived on Monday night with 301,860 doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 jabs.

These are donations from the United States that was coursed through the global initiative COVAX Facility.

Starting November 17, the Department of Health said those fully vaccinated can get Moderna, Pfizer, or Sinovac for their booster doses.

Thanks. Now you got me confused[emoji16] i got Sinovac as my primary shot but up for a booster soon & thinking of Moderna as I heard it gives a more robust response. Now, I’m not sure[emoji15]

Sino vax are not popular or used in the US or other Western countries, which is why Valbena is said to be first.
