my neighborhood barber shop is still closed, until the barbers get their vaccinations, sabi ng facebook person nila.
i am supposing, the hair shops that are already open, have vaccinated workers.

vaccinated people can still infect diba? I don't plan to go to my stylist dahil aircon sa salon e. I will have home service lang, yung mga nag sideline cutting hair or mani pedi pero I am still scared kasi baka may covid

you get pimples when your hair pores and follicles get infected, and not because you need a haircut.
something a good regular bath can significantly help prevent.

Thankful na din ako kasi I eat everything and even if I hug fat lab na rare maligo, I don't get pimples, pero marami ako nunal

I got the results na for my covid neutralizing antibody test

Is this high enough? I read dapat daw 20 days after getting covid pa nagde develop talaga immunity. What I don't know is 20 days from testing positive or recovery kasi my first day of symptom was August 25 and I recovered Sep 7. I had the test done Sep 26

Is that good news? Di ba kaya lang mag-e-end ang delta pag may mas infectious na variant. I just hope na yung next na mas infectious mas less lethal, parang flu na lang.

Luckily we all tested negative via swab antigen earlier or else we are gonna isolate. We just don't know if he was infected by delta or other variant. So we are just glad that our immune system works for us and it helps to have a strong immune system during this pandemic.

When Covid can be managed like the ordinary flu and when there's already medicine to cure covid, or at least make the symptoms very mild.

quantitatively - low R naught (R0)

=> These basically summarizes we controlled the virus either by immunity (acquired or by vaccine) or by a cure.

I'm sure bloowolf was just joking. What I want to know is if I am exposed to a person with covid:

1. Extremely low probability that I will catch it
2. I will catch it but I will be asymptomatic

I know may time frame lang na mataas antibodies ko. I just want a haircut lang talaga without fear na I will catch it at makapanghawa ako Feeling ko subhuman na ako because I cannot even do basic things/self care anymore



Gusto ko lang naman makapag pagupit without fear na maco covid ako. Basta ang assumption ko lahat ng tao sa paligid ko may covid. Mahirap kasi I know by experience that wearing a mask isn't enough to protect me.

I would think the chances of you getting it now after a natural infection is slim, but you should still mask up & practice protocol. Inquire with the place whether the staff are vaxxed.

In CNN yesterday, a virologist was interviewed and he said they are now conducting phase 2 trials for a Covid treatment pill. If the trials are successful, they expect to apply emergency use authorization by December this year. Siguro ito ung repackaged Ivermectin!

The last quarter of 2021 will be a window of opportunities: vaccinating more people, and regulating mobility during the holidays (while maintaining a joyous meaningful holiday season). The month of January will reap the benefits of the interventions in the last quarter of 2021.
We expect no big wave in the first quarter of 2022, especially if (i) no new more transmissible variant will be introduced in November/December (currently, there are no reported new more transmissible variants), and (ii) most of the provinces, especially in highly urbanized cities, have 50% or more vaccination coverage. But even with high vaccination coverage, we still need to follow minimum health standards."
